Nov. 15, 2009: Sergio Jimenez, 24, was discovered shot to death in a parking lot between 19th and 20th streets and First and Second avenues in Rock Island at about 3 a.m.

Aug. 30, 2008: Harriet Crandall, 96, was found dead in her Milan home after a ﬁre. It was later discovered she had been strangled prior to the blaze.

Dec. 22, 2007: Agnes Kennedy, 51, was found dead in an alley along the 1800 block of West 7th Street in Davenport.

Sept. 7, 2006: Paul Miller, 22, was killed by bullets fired through a glass window in a door of a second-floor apartment he shared with his fiance, Tawalla Sanders, at 506 14th St., Rock Island.

March 26, 2006: Mark S. Brown, 30, was shot outside Jimmy's Tap in the 700 block of 7th Street in Rock Island. Friends discovered him on the ground outside the bar and picked him up, thinking he was drunk. When they saw he was bleeding from his stomach, they rushed him to the hospital, where he died during surgery. Jan. 8, 2006: Nicholas "Boogy" Atwater was shot to death at the Village Woods apartment complex, 280 W. 20th Ave., Milan. He had gone with his family to Chuck E. Cheese and dropped his mother, Betty Atwater, off at home sometime between 9 and 9:30 p.m. He then went to the apartment complex, possibly to visit friends or his girlfriend.

July, 2005: Chris Conner was found dead in the trunk of a car in the 200 block of East Central Park, Davenport.

Oct. 19, 2004: Jorge Gutierrez was found dead in the bed of a pickup truck in the 3400 block of South Concord in Davenport.

July 10, 2003: Parts of the body of Jone Knapton were found in the Green River north of Geneseo. Authorities believe she died between July 4 and 5. Nov. 12, 2001: Yvonne Nicholson, 32, of Rock Island, was discovered about 9:30 a.m. by construction workers driving along the slough on South Concord Street in Davenport.

June 20, 1998: Ray L. March was found dead in the 1200 block of North Harrison in Davenport.

April 14, 1995: Three Milledgeville teens found the garbage bag-wrapped, dismembered remains of 27-year-old Kimberly R. Mabry of Rockford. Jan. 22, 1994: Keyontrae Miles was found in the 300 block of Western in Davenport.

July 30, 1993: Victor Killian was found in the 1000 block of North Harrison in Davenport.

Jan. 29, 1993: Virgil Anderson was found strangled to death in a house 800 block of 24th Street, Rock Island.

Oct. 27, 1992: Jeffrey Gill was found dead in an apartment in the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue in Rock Island.

June 15, 1992: Patricia Glenn was found dead in the 4200 block of Wapello in Davenport. Her body was found ﬂoating in swamp near West Wappello Avenue by turtle hunters.

Oct. 30, 1991: Betty Jean Hubbard was found strangled in a house in the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue in Rock Island. Her nude body was found lying face-up on the ﬂoor of a back room and her clothes were never found.

Oct. 12, 1991: Charles McCauley was found shot to death in a Rock Island alley.

June 9, 1991: Helen Bernardi was found strangled and beaten to death in her home at 3910 20th Ave., Rock Island.

Feb. 17, 1989: Massie Pittman was found dead at 621 N. Harrison in Davenport.

Feb. 8, 1988: Alfred Allen was found in the 200 block of Warren in Davenport.

Nov. 30, 1987: Michael Anderson was also found in the 200 block of Warren in Davenport.

May 20, 1986: The body of Kathleen Goebler, 29, was discovered across a barbed wire fence in a sparsely wooded area about 45 feet south of Interstate 88 near milepost 28.5 in rural Whiteside County. A person discovered Ms. Goebler's decomposed skeletal remains. According to the Illinois State Police, her last known address was Mckees Rocks, Pa., which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. Ms. Goebler was last seen between April 11 and 18, 1986, in Mckees Rocks, Pa. State police also said Ms. Goebler often hitchhiked as a means of transportation.

Nov. 24, 1984: John R. Green and Mark E. Green were found dead in the 1500 block of Bell in Davenport.

April 24, 1984: Flint Hardy was found dead in the 1200 block of Marquette in Davenport.

Jan. 24, 1983: Francisco Nagera was found near the intersection of 2nd and Warren in Davenport.

Dec. 2, 1982: Clifford Lewis was found dead in the 600 block of North Brady Street in Davenport. Dec. 27, 1980: Robert Leeper was found dead in the 2600 block of Rockingham in Davenport.

Aug. 26, 1980: "Baby Girl Lambert" was found in a dumpster in the 2700 block of West 72nd Street, Davenport.

June 20, 1980: Paul Donder, 26, was found shot to death in his home at 108 8th Ave., Silvis. A friend discovered his body at about 3 p.m. in the kitchen. Police ofﬁcers said they believed he was shot in the chest and chin.

April 24, 1980: Cody Jones and Gary Harker were found under debris in the bed of a truck purchased at a Davenport auto auction.

April 4, 1980: Clyde D. Stoner was found dead at 200 S. Gaines in Davenport.

Aug. 19, 1979: Roger Warren was found in the Mississippi River near the Crescent Bridge in Davenport.

Nov. 2, 1978: Martha Kistenmacher was found dead in the 1300 block of Main Street in Davenport.

Aug. 3, 1978: Clara Schiele was found dead in the 1400 block of Main Street in Davenport.

Dec. 13, 1974: John Rude was found dead in the 2500 block of Madison in Davenport.

Sept. 9, 1974: Mary Ann Becker, 16, was found beaten and strangled in her family's Atkinson home.

Dec. 23, 1973: Dolly Mae Anderson was found dead in the 1400 block of Ripley in Davenport.

Feb. 18, 1972: Don Jeys was found dead in the 700 block of West 5th Street in Davenport.

March 7, 1971:Judith Haeker was found dead in the 200 block of East 15th Street in Davenport.

January, 1964: Harry Shannon was found dead in a bar near the intersection of Rockingham and Michigan in Davenport. Feb. 16, 1961:Clarence Case was found dead in Ray and Edith's tavern at 1600 W. Locust St., Davenport.

Nov. 29, 1955: Lucille Bacher was found dead in a pharmacy near the intersection of Lincoln and Redwood in Davenport.

Sept. 17, 1955: Charles Bowden was found dead at 521 1/2 W. 4th St., Davenport.

September, 1947: Margaret Treece was found dead on Credit Island.

1947 (no date available): Jack Winﬁeld was found dead in the Mississippi River at Myrtle Street in Davenport.

Sept. 22, 1935: Charles Englehart was found dead in the 700 block of Main Street in Davenport.
