The MW Graduate Programme

We offer graduate programmes designed to give maximum exposure to our business whilst delivering a long term investment in the best people.

Joining into your area of specialism you will be part of a small group of other driven Graduates, developing your knowledge as a cohort over the 16 month structured programme. As our scheme is non-rotational you will gain an invaluable depth of knowledge and will immediately have accountability for crucial work. Complimenting this, Graduates will have the opportunity for two secondments during the programme with the possibility to work overseas. Put simply - we offer breadth, variety and the support that will enable you to build yourself a strong technical platform from which to launch your career within the firm.

Roles available

Technology Programme (London)

Based within our development teams you will learn the business and grow your knowledge whilst honing your software and programming skills. You will also have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and learn from some of the best technicians in our sector, allowing you to become an outstanding IT professional. To be successful you must be an innovative problem solver with a passion for technology.

Operations Programme (London)

In this role you will be a critical conduit between our investments, our trading platforms and our processes, understanding and influencing the inner workings of our business at all levels. As our firm and assets under management grow, so does the need for sophisticated operations. Because of the compact and inclusive nature of the company, there is an exceptional opportunity, firstly, to come to terms with the practical side of running such a business and, eventually, to influence and drive change.

Risk Programme (London)

The Risk and Performance team are responsible for detailed risk profiling of our funds and strategies. Through this you would significantly engage with investment teams to share performance measurement and risk data, as well as interacting with the wider business. The team have developed comprehensive proprietary systems and as such you will routinely be manipulating and analysing large datasets and therefore should have experience of SQL and ideally be familiar with Matlab. To be successful in this role you will be a graduate of a quantitative subject and possess excellent attention to detail.

Analyst Programme (Hong Kong)

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly numerate, highly analytical and will be expected to be everything from problem-solver to project manager. You will be working within the investment teams researching businesses and making a difference to our portfolio. As with all of our programmes, training will be a mixture of on the job experience and classroom based training. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are interested in working across our business as a whole. Being based in Hong Kong, the ability to speak and read Mandarin and English at business level is essential.

Quantitative Analyst Programme (London)

Recruitment for our Quant programme begins in January 2017. Assessment centres will take place in March 2017.
