NC State recorded back-to-back nine-win seasons for only the third time in school history (1991-92, 1973-74) . In fact, in the 127 years of NC State football, the Wolfpack has reached the nine-win plateau just 12 times, with head coach Dave Doeren accomplishing the feat each of the last two seasons . Of the 64 teams in the Power-5 conferences, only 12 (18 75%). have had at least nine wins each of the last two seasons . The Wolfpack and Clemson are the only two ACC squads to accomplish the feat . In terms of conference wins, NC State has racked up 11 over the last two seasons (going 6-2 in 2017 and 5-3 last year) . The Pack’s 11 ACC wins the last two seasons ties the school record for most in consecutive years, accomplished four times now and for the first time since 1991-92 . NC State’s 18 total wins and 11 conference victories over the last two season are both second-best in the ACC . NC State has competed in five straight bowl games - the second- longest bowl streak in school history . The Wolfpack placed six players on the All-ACC first team . That mark led all ACC schools for 2018, was the second-highest tally in school history and the most for NC State since 1992 . NC State became the first team in ACC history to boast two first-team All- ACC wide receivers - as Kelvin Harmon and Jakobi Meyers were both 2018 honorees . QB COMPETITION TRIPLE DIGITS The downside to the fact that the Wolfpack will One way to quantify the develop of the Wolfpack under Dave Doeren is boast five NFL quarterbacks this season is that to look at the numbers the Wolfpack has put up offensively . NC State very little experience returns at that position was one of just two teams in the FBS (Oklahoma) to field a 3,500-yard for the 2019 season . The good news is that the passer, a 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers in 2018 . The Wolfpack has a talented roster of signal callers, Wolfpack also tallied a school-record number of 100+ yard receiving, although the starter may not be announced 100+ yard rushing and 300+ yard passing games with 25 . until the first game .
