Speaker cancels

A scheduled lecture by Dr. Henry Louis Gates; chairman of the department of Afro-American studies at Harvard University, was cancelled last Wednesday; Gates said he unexpectedly had to cancel his appearance due to an emergency conflict and apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused.
