You may wonder how desperately we Sneed such initiatives. The answer is simple - because we produce enough food to feed everyone, yet one in nine people goes to sleep hungry every night and one-third of food produced for human consump- tion is lost or goes to waste. This is why this campaign to stop wastage of food by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) is a call out of necessity, concern and fear of this human attitude that can and will eliminate the natural resources we need for survival on Planet Earth. This is why I believe such a move needs support and action. When we were young at school, we were taught about the food chain, which represents a series in which food and energy are transferred from one organ- ism in an ecosystem to another. The food chain clearly shows us how energy is passed from the sun to plants and animals and eventually to us humans. I am not a scientist, but I believe that working to preserve the earth’s natural resources must begin by Kuwait’s sky is orange during sunset with a view of Liberation Tower in the background.

  • Sports Hub Launches Ticket Sales for Super Rugby 2018
SPORTS HUB LAUNCHES TICKET SALES FOR SUPER RUGBY 2018 Singapore, 29 March 2018 – The Singapore Sports Hub today announced that tickets for the 2018 Super Rugby match to be played in Singapore will go on sale on 1 April 2018, Sunday at 10am. The match will take place on 30 June 2018, Saturday, at the National Stadium, where Singapore’s adopted home team, HITO-Communications SUNWOLVES will play against South Africa’s BULLS. Members of the public can enjoy an early-bird discount of 15 percent for Category 1 and 2 tickets from 1 April to 31 May 2018. The match on 30 June 2018 is the only game in Singapore this year, and it will be the second time the SUNWOLVES take on the BULLS in Singapore. The last time when both teams played against each other was in 2016, when SUNWOLVES was defeated by a small margin of 27-30. “The team is excited to play in Singapore again this year. Besides familiar faces such as Edward Quirk, Harumichi Tatekawa, Shota Horie, Fumiaki Tanaka and Sam Wykes, fans can look forward to the return of Akihito Yamada, who scored a hat-trick against the Cheetahs in 2016 at the National Stadium, as well as new faces including Michael Leitch, Hosea Saumaki and Lomano Lemeki. We hope that fans can come and support us as we continue to strive towards earning our first win in our second home, ” said Jamie Joseph, SUNWOLVES Head Coach. Jamie Joseph replaces Filo Tiatia as the Head Coach this year, and doubles up as the Japan National Team Head Coach, preparing the team for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
