Vineyard's new

July 2, 2020 - July 28, 2020

Proposal:

The large majority of respondents have visited the new restaurants in Vineyard with 79.4% saying so at a ±4.5% margin of error. A majority of respondents prefer drive thru over alternative social distancing practices while social distancing is recommended with 52.0%. Interestingly, another 32.3% preferred Curbside Takeout. Swig was the most attended new with 29.2% respondents and Mo' Bettahs was a close second with 27.1%.

When it comes to plans to visit the new restaurants, the results are fairly even across the board with 5.6% choosing none of them. There was a wide variety of responses when asked which restaurant respondents would be willing to send letters of encouragement to. We recommend reminding users to write letters of encouragement to their favorite restaurants to help speed up opportunity for Vineyard. Most respondents seem happy with the level of service the current restaurants are providing.

Additionally, one respondent said “If you get Bombay House or HuHot I will adopt you as my personal deity.” So there are some strong feelings about adding more food options in Vineyard.

6. Tell us about your experience ordering food in Vineyard

Sentiment Comment It's been fine, probably not better or worse than ordering other places. However if Panda can keep their service up it's the best panda I've ever been to but I wonder if it's because it's new so they are making a good 7 impression? 6 It has been great! We love having everything closer. 3 It has been great! Love that most places have a drive-thru! 1 Been relatively easy. I have ordered curbside pick up from chubbys, and their management team definitely had a well thought out system, the application had a few errors but it was a good experience. My experience at UMAMI was excellent, their adjustments to the pandemic was impressive, I felt safe being out. Little caesar's was incredibly quick and In was impressed with 11 the drive through flow of every restaurant. It’s been so amazing. Everyone is so nice! I love when new restaurant 10 set high standards. The Panda Express food quality was way better than any other location 4 we've gone to. 0 ,be y,you Uu ,uu uuu 6 It's been great so far, happy to see more businesses coming in 0 Good so far! The lack of anything beyond fast food is disappointing. Some healthy 1 options would be nice 3 I’ve loved having places close by! 3 The restaurants we’ve visited have been great so far! It’s been great! Our income has been less because of COVID so we 3 haven’t been able to eat out recently bu we plan to in the future I love what we have so far and can't wait for more restaurants to come our way. I love to have a mobile ordering option. Delivery would be 10 awesome as well. Generally positive. Had a messed-up at Mo Bettas, but they competed 0 us all drinks and corrected it quickly. It's been awesome, everything seems really clean and well done in 6 those new places 1 Nice and simple! Loving the growing close by options. 6 We have mostly ordered from chubbys, I wish more places had a drive

thu. It’s really difficult with kids to pick something up on the way home if I haven’t had a chance to call a head. Chubbys doesn’t seem to be doing curbside pick up according to their website. I don’t like taking my kids into restaurants right now and I’m not comfortable leaving them in the car while I go in. 0 Great! It’s been great! We really like the drive-through and curbside pick up 7 options. Gives us a chance to social distance We order from chubbys for pickup and it's been great, they have great 6 service and food. It's been great, love it, Cheddar's is great, very happy with the 12 restaurants here so far 0 Fantastic 0 Excellent! I’ve had great experiences. I love having these places sooo close! All of 9 the customer service has been great. Panda Express was highly disappointing. The tables were all closed so we couldn’t eat in yet about 8 employees were all sitting and eating. It was awkward. Guests can’t dine in but the employees can? It wasn’t just 1-2 either. It was a large group of them. Couldn’t hardly understand the girl behind the counter. She wasn’t friendly and shouted questions at us with no emotion and acted annoyed when we asked “what?” I am in no -6 hurry to go back. Very inhospitable. 1 It’s been great. No problems. Good food. Good service. 3 It’s been great 0 Good 0 It will be quicker when the center street overpass is done I've ordered food from Chubby's and it's always been great! So glad 6 they are here! -2 Easy and natural, no problems 3 All great! I love having some of my favorite places nearby finally! Going out is so much easier for us now and we are more likely to go to vineyard 5 restaurants just because of speed and convenience. 0 Fantastic! Service is always quick and accurate -2 No problem 0 I haven’t ordered any food except from Gurus in Provo. 0 Been good - no complaints 2 Overall positive

Additional Comments:

Sentiment Response Comment If you get Bombay House or HuHot I will adopt you as my personal 1 yes deity. Let's get more local and/or independent restaurants. Don't love 3 yes national chains. Cheapens the Vineyard experience 0 yes None 1 yes Thanks for the interest Talk to Kevin Santiago, he owns most of the non-franchise restaurants in 0 yes Utah County. (e.g. Communal, Station 22, Five Star BBQ, etc) 3 yes A gas station in that plaza would be great too Still looking forward to a small grocery store. Preferably one that focuses on fresh organic food. Maybe it could include a deli and be the 1 yes sandwich shop also. Honestly, Vineyard is not very family friendly to young families. It seems 2 no to be catered mostly to young adults. I would love to see more food places that have gluten free options. I can't eat anything at Panda Express or . I'd love to see Costa Vida come here. It would also be fantastic to have a grocery store 11 yes and/or a pharmacy!
