Weakest volume in the series but still somewhat entertaining.By Karissa EckertThis is the eleventh volume in the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic series. This was my least favorite book in the series so far. A lot of new characters are introduced and I was having some trouble following the story. The Zagan arc wraps up in this book. The majority of the story consists of a large battle between our heroes and the Al Sarmen group. The eight generals also show up again (while I love these guys, I again have trouble keeping track of them all). This series has been a bit inconsistent for me. It always seems like there is an epic story going on and then we are diverted to something smaller and less interesting (like the whole Zagan dungeon which I was initially excited about but then was kind of a drag). Some of these books have been really awesome and some have really dragged, this book was one of the worst ones. But it does seem like the story is changing course to something more interesting. There is a ton of action in this book, which I enjoy. I thought the illustration in this book wasn’t as good as some of the other shounen I read (Claymore, Deadman Wonderland, ). At times I had trouble figuring out what was happening in the action scenes, there was just too much going on and characters weren’t as distinctive from each other as they could have been.Overall this was a decent installment in the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic series but still one of the weakest ones in the series so far. I will keep on reading the next couple volumes in the series, but if it continues in this way this is a manga series I will probably drop. I would recommend this series to fans of light-hearted and action packed fantasy manga. Most of the series has been very good.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Magi continues to excelBy NicholasThe manga volume came in perfect condition. This volume finishes the Zagan arc, save for one chapter, and the writing/art just keeps getting better with each volume.

Deep within the desert lie the mysterious Dungeons, vast stores of riches there for the taking by anyone lucky enough to find them and brave enough to venture into the depths from where few have ever returned. Plucky young adventurer Aladdin means to find the Dungeons and their riches, but Aladdin may be just as mysterious as the treasures he seeks. The sinister organization Al-Thamen seeks the wisdom of Solomon, and they don’t care who they have to destroy to get it! Deep within the dungeon, faced with opponents capable of using powerful magic and with their friends the Tran under attack by the Al-Thamen as well, Aladdin and Alibaba must use all their skill and strength to stay alive.
