Service at Home reflection sheets are still being sent out because we know that, despite the lifting of all Covid restrictions, a lot of people don’t yet feel safe in an environment with many other people. That is fine. There is no obligation to attend church in person until you feel safe.

CHURCH OPENING The church is now open every Sunday and Wednesday from 9.00a.m. until 5.00p.m. to enable access for private prayer, contributions to the Food Bank box and purchases from the Card Stall. [NB Please note the church will NOT be able to be open on Wednesday 25th August because of the wedding on the previous day]

MORNING PRAYER Starting in September, Revd. Jeremy will be saying Morning Prayer daily in a church in the benefice at 9.00a.m. and he will be visiting Kings Bromley every Wednesday from 8th September. This is not a communion service and Jeremy will not be robed. It will last a maximum of 30 minutes and anyone is invited to join Jeremy in prayer if they wish.

RIDE AND STRIDE The Annual cycle/car/walking event around churches will take place on Saturday, September 11th to raise funds for churches, and our church will be open again to visitors. If anyone would like to volunteer for an hour (or two!) between 10.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. on the day to welcome visitors and sign their sheets please let Glen know (tel:472622 or [email protected]). KINGS BROMLEY VILLAGE NEWS Because of the retirement of the present deliverers after many years’ service, we require urgently two people for two rounds covering Lant Close, Victoria Meadow, Vicarage Croft, Vicarage Lane and part of Road, preferably able to start as soon as possible.
