    TOIMINTA- JA TALOUSKERTOMUS 2011 Vuosikatsaus Vuosi alkoi hienosti Kiira Korven EM-pronssimitalilla. Helmikuussa taitoluistelu nousi Sponsor Insightin tutkimuksissa Suomen toiseksi arvostetuimmaksi urheilulajiksi. Kevättä väritti muodostelmaluistelun menestyksekäs MM-kilpailu Helsingin jäähallissa. Muodostelmaluistelun MM-kilpailu onnistui erinomaisesti. Suomalasijoukkueet (Rockettes ja Marigold IceUnity) saavutti kultaa ja hopea. Myös taloudellisesti tapahtuma onnistui hyvin. Loppuunmyyty jäähalli tempaantui kisatunnelmaan jo ensimmäisestä esityksestä alkaen ja tapahtumasta tulikin yksi vuoden suomalaisen urheilun huippuhetkistä. Vuosittaisessa Urheilugaalassa kilpailu oli ehdolla parhaaksi suomalaiseksi urheilutapahtumaksi sekä sykähdyttävimmäksi urheiluhetkeksi, ja selviytyikin urheilutapahtumasarjassa kolmen parhaan joukkoon. Tapahtuman viestintä painottui uusiin medioihin, joka suurelta osin vaikutti MM-kilpailun loistavaan lipunmyyntitulokseen. Tämä kokemus toi paljon uutta osaamista Suomen Taitoluisteluliitolle. Kilpailun kynnyksellä panostettiin lajin imagomainontaan. Toimenpiteiden avulla muodostelmaluistelun näkyvyys nousi huomattavasti. MM-kilpailu tarjosi hyvän mahdollisuuden demonstroida muodostelmaluistelun merkittävyyttä taitoluisteluperheelle. Suomen Taitoluisteluliitto kutsui Kansainvälisen Luisteluliiton (ISU:n) hallituksen pitämään kokoustaan Helsinkiin kisojen aikana. Päättäjät olivat vaikuttuneita näkemästään.
