    2020 Athlete Travel Funding Information Able Athlete Funding Athletes appearing on the 2020 Travel Funding Standard list will be provided with travel support. For events in Australia, when their event appears on the travel funding grid an interstate* athlete will receive the following: • Return economy airfare from their Australian home city to the meet location • One night’s accommodation (twin share) at the meet hotel • Ground transport from the airport to the meet hotel and return and ground transport from the meet hotel to the venue (if applicable) and return It should be noted that this is only available when the event for which the athlete is funded appears on the AA travel funding grid. Athletes will not be funded to compete in a different event in Australia. *Interstate does not include Canberra to Sydney / Newcastle or vice versa.
