BRINGTON PARISH COUNCIL

Before the meeting two planning officers from District Council attended to explain to members of the public and councillors, about the impending appraisal of Gt. Brington Conservation Area. The officers Rhian Morgan and Richard Bullows, assured attendees that the review is a normal statutory duty and is part of a two year piece of work which will review all 27 conservation areas in the . Rhian Morgan explained that it is very rare for conservation areas to alter boundaries during an appraisal and she can see no reason why this would change for Gt. Brington. There will be consultation with residents, the Parish Council and and opportunity to feed into the process. An Appraisal Document will be produced and once it is approved, it will become part of the planning process. The first Open Drop-In Session about the Appraisal will be held at the Reading Room in Gt. Brington between 3pm & 6pm on Tuesday 2nd July. All queries about the appraisal should go to Rhian Morgan at [email protected]
