Design rationale, eber = wild boar as a pun on the annunciation of the surname Aberle the hunting horn on a (berg) mountain within the black fir trees is suggesting the parish of which is nestled within the Schwartzwarld or (). The family is descended from those from the Swabian tribal, or stem Duchy. According to the book “The Black Forest its People and Legends (1885)” By Lisbeth Gooch Seguin, on page 37, the Swabian dwelt in the Western portion of the Black Forest, having their own special dialect. Melba’s mother Hannah Marie FLYCKT (1899-1964) was born at Little Sauk Twp. Todd County, MN, Melba’s paternal grandfather, Erik ANDERSON, (1849-1927) a farmer from Sundsvall, Vasternorrland, Sweden, and Her Paternal grandmother, Marit HALVORSDR. Tronset (1854-1936) was born at Meraker, Nord Trondelag, Norway. Melba’s maternal grandfather, Johan Emil FLYKT (1861-1929) a farmer from Alvsborg, Blidsberg, Vastergotland, Sweden. Along with his wife, Ragnild Y, JOHANSDR. (1862-1946) was born at farm/ gaard Lenes-stalan Hemne, Sor Trondelag, Norway. Melba was laid to rest near the Bassett family not far from Jesse, and Anne Mabel (BASSETT) (ABERLE) at Grandview Park Cemetery, Hopkins, MN. She was a secretary by formal training. Ken ABERLE followed in death and was laid to rest alongside his wife Melba.
