We thought of organising a competition entitled ‘expat of the year,’ but became depressed when we realised that the categories would revolve around such hearten- ing themes such as: ‘who lost the least money’, or ‘oh, are they still here?’ And yet some, at the end of the chain, haven’t been hit at all; their moment is still to come, whilst the rest of us are, hopefully, recovering. This month we include no news about economics at all, thank God.
