Abstract: Theeffectsof4differentexperimentalphotoperiodregimes,LDN(naturalphotoperiod),LD24:0(24hlight:0hdark), LD12:12(12hlight:12hdark)andLD0:24(0hlight:24hdark),onfeedintakeandgrowthparametersofjuvenileturbot(21± 2.3g)intheBlackSeaweredetermined.Growthwashighestinthegroupexposedtothecontinuousphotoperiod(LD24:0), followedbytheLD12:12,LDNandLD0:24groupsindescendingorder.ThelowestgrowthratewasrecordedintheLD0:24group. Accordingtotheresultsobtained,LD24:0andLD12:12photoperiodexposuresarebestforbettergrowthandfoodconversionin juvenileturbot.
