Saint John Vianney Parish

2015 Ministries Booklet

Dear Friends in Christ,

As Saint John Vianney Parish embarks on its annual stewardship through ministry renewal, we ask you to reflect on our renewal theme…Let’s Live Like That.

There are many ways that the members of God’s family live and give of self. It can be seen through prayerful and regular participation at daily or weekly Mass; through giving of our financial contributions to support the Parish, Archdiocese and outreach programs; and by service to others via the large number of ministry opportunities available at Saint John Vianney Parish.

Whether used in the printed format accompanying this letter or the electronic format now available on the parish website (www.stjohnv.org/parish/ministries-booklet), you have an opportunity to review the ministries and select one or more that best utilizes your talents and gifts. Our parish is blessed with a multitude of members who demonstrate their faith and share God’s love in one or more of over 100 ministries.

These prospects for service form the core of our parish, whether reaching out to those in need, assisting in prayer and worship, serving as a guide for lifelong Christian formation or education, or leading as a standing committee member. There is a place for every parishioner, young and old…to which ministry or ministries are you called? Our prayer is that you consider how you can help, as there is always room for more participants across all ministries.

To those who already are active in ministry, please accept a large measure of thanks. Your contributions of your time and talent provide a wonderful example of responding to God’s love as you Live Like That and make stewardship a way of life.

If you are interested in joining a ministry, please contact the leader shown for each area. Please also note that the ministry listing on the parish website is periodically updated throughout the year, so please utilize that resource as well. Finally, we also offer the services of the parish LINK office, staffed by volunteers, to match parishioners with ministries and ministry needs. You can reach the LINK office at 262-796-3940, ext. 1110.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us as we respond to God’s call to stewardship. Let’s Live Like That.

In gratitude,

Rev. Kenneth P. Knippel Maria M. Pascente Duane McAllister Pastor Chair, Pastoral Council Chair, Stewardship
