The labeling referred to above, submitted in connection with registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, as amended, is acceptable provided that you submit the confirmatory data specified in Attachment A and make the label changes listed below. One copy of the finished labeling must be submitted prior to releasing the product for shipment.~

Under the section entitled General Precautions and Instructions, insert a subheading entitled ''Use Restrictions". Under this subheading place the following statements which apply to both corn and use: . Do not apply this product through any kind of irrigation system. Do not harVest within 90 days of application. Do not plant root, leafy or legume within four months following application. Do not plant wheat or triticale within two months following application. Do not plant any other rotational crops (except field com, potato, leafy vegetables, root vegetables, legumes, wheat or triticale) within 12 months following application. Observe the following precautions when applying in the vicinity of aquatic areas: Do not apply within 20 yards (in New York State, do not apply within 100 feet or 33 yards) oflakes, reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, marshes, natural ponds, estuaries, commercial aquaculture facilities or other bodies of water that Convey water to these areas. Protection of aquatic areas may'be enhanced by maintaining all or a portion of this buffer in vegetative cover. Do not use this product if the com or potato is planted by hand.

Move the compatibility statements to the section on spray preparation.

Review the application instructions on page 4, which presently are fonnatted to apply only to com, for applicability to potato, and if they do apply to potato, revise the label to make clear they also apply to potato.

Revise the last sentence of the instructions appearing in the application method column to read as follows: . Do not use T -banding over the top of a closed furrow.

Submit two copies of the revised final printed label for the record.

If these conditions are not complied with, the registration will be subject to cancellation in accordance with FIFRA sec. 6(e). Your release for shipment of the product constitutes acceptance of these conditions.
