Jimmie F. Dyer died March 24, 2018. He was born April 21, 1926 in Castro County, Texas to Presley Hodges and Jimmie Agnes Dyer. The fifth of seven children, he is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gwendolyn (Hayes), daughters Janeette Dignan, Jimmie Whitt; Jennifer, Monie Jacalyn, and son Jeffrey and well as a younger brother Jack, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Benbrook’s athletic program focuses on developing students athletically while holding every athletic accountable academically. In 2015, Benbrook established a middle school cross country program.
