Sean O Donahoe and Kevin Hennessy from the Order of Malta visited our transition year class and taught us the skills of First Aid. We learned how to give CPR and the correct procedure to tie a sling on the arm. We were informed on what to do in various emergency situations including choking, bleeding, and deal- ing with someone who has fainted or unconscious. It was most educational and this valuable information may prove fruitful to us some day in the future. Mrs Killoran, our transition year co-ordinator organised this programme.
