1. Introduction
1.1 Scheme Background
Norfolk County Council owns both the existing Highways Depot and the existing Recycling Centre at Pump Lane, off the A149 Caister Bypass. The county-wide programme of Recycling Centre upgrades, to a standardised design, means that a larger site is needed. The adjacent Highways Depot is due to downsize in the near future, and so a land-transfer is proposed, to benefit the management and functioning of both sites.
1.2 Purpose of this Report
This report draws together the following reports into one document, the Phase One Habitat Survey and Protected Species Survey results.
