Press release The most beautiful campuses, passenger stations and sports facilities, as named by the World Judges Panel of the Prix Versailles 2019
Composed of Francesco Bandarin, the former Assistant Director-General for Culture at UNESCO (Chairman of the World Judges Panel), David Adjaye, Ferran Adrià, Iris van Herpen, Alondra de la Parra, Kazuyo Sejima, Philippe Starck and Thomas Vonier, the World Judges Panel has deliberated and awarded World Titles to nine structures in three of the categories of the Prix Versailles: Campuses, Passenger Stations and Sports.
These nine award winners will come together in Paris, at UNESCO Headquarters, on 12 Septem- ber 2019 for the Prix Versailles World Ceremony. On this occasion the twelve titles that the World Judges Panel has decided to award in the other four categories of the Prix Versailles (Shops & Stores, Shopping Malls, Hotels and Restaurants) will also be announced.
