MEDL Mobile Unleashes Rampage Jackson's First Mobile App

The UFC Legend and MEDL Introduce a New Mobile Punching Game App to Coincide With Upcoming Fight in Japan

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB:MEDL), an incubator and aggregator of mobile technology, announced today that its first app developed with Rampage Jackson, the legendary UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship®) star and film actor (The A-Team), will be released in Japan for iOS devices. The app, titled "Rampage Rage," will initially be sold only in the Japan iTunes Store for $0.99 in honor of Jackson's upcoming fight with Ryan Bader at the UFC 144 Pay-Per-View this Saturday, February 25 in Saitama, Japan. The app is expected to be available worldwide within the next two weeks.

"Rampage Rage" is a punching game app in which the player's objective is to fight off a series of fierce opponents using various punching techniques while proceeding toward the far-off end of a dark hallway. As the player progresses through the game, the action accelerates. A demo video of the game can be viewed on YouTube here: http://bit.ly/RampageRage

Jackson, an active gaming enthusiast, has been with MEDL Mobile as a creative game development executive since late 2011, working alongside programmers to develop three game apps based on his ideas. His three-app deal signifies a continuing trend of celebrities who are marketing their own mobile apps to connect with their fans and extend their brands into the fast-growing mobile apps market.

"We have been deeply impressed with the passion, creativity and originality Rampage brings to development. We have a great game and we're confident will make Rampage's fans happy and create many new fans," said Dave Swartz, MEDL Mobile co-founder and chief creative officer.

The second game from Rampage Jackson and MEDL Mobile is slated for release in March, with the third app following later this year.
