Special Projects

Interprofessional Education Consortium (February, April, October, 2019, 2018, 2019, 2020). Collaborated with colleagues at several institutions (University of Dayton, , , Miami University, Sinclair Community College) to create an interprofessional learning experience for students in the following disciplines: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, Dietetics, Social Work, Nursing, Medical, Radiology, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Public Health. Students learned about the various disciplines by working in teams on a case study and developing a treatment plan based on their deliberations. Each team then presented their approach to a panel of faculty for feedback.

Implemented a 6- week intervention on behavior modification with at risk students using physical conditioning through martial arts. Services included a three-hour workshop to 120 teachers and administrators in the Mad River district.
