Having everyone in the same hotel has become an integral aspect of the European BaT events. There is always a great atmosphere amongst the clients and staff and we want this to continue with our Italy trip. The social aspect is as much a part of our events as the track days, and something we pride ourselves on. For us it’s not just about the track days, it’s about the experience and the trip as a whole. Steered together by our common interest, it is the perfect opportunity to meet other people on the trip. Review your laps of the circuits with like-minded people over dinner and drinks. Our aim is to make everyone feel part of the team and to build a strong relationship from the start. An added bonus of our hotel package is that it relieves you from the arduous task of searching hotels for yourself, just leave it to us.

With this in mind, the decision to book just one hotel for the duration of the trip was made. Located centrally along the route, and just 30km from Bologne, the Hotel Palazzo Di Varignana was the ideal setting. After much deliberation, a single hotel was deemed to be a more suitable decision for a number of reasons. The hassle of packing and unpacking, together with checking in and out of multiple hotels has been removed, meaning you are free to relax in one place for the duration of your break. We understand there is a slightly longer than expected drive to some of the circuits, but in the case of Mugello and Misano we have pushed back the start time to allow for a more leisurely start, and reduced the lunch break/extended the finishing time to ensure you are still enjoying the same amount of track time. For those of you bringing partners or families, it also means they can have a comfortable stay in one location. All decisions are made with our customers in mind, and we hope you agree this is the best option.

To further improve on the interaction and to encourage early friendships to form, we are hosting a welcome reception meal at Hotel Palazzo Di Varignana on the evening of Sunday 21st October 2018 at 20:00. At the end of the event, we will also be hosting a finale dinner on Wednesday 24th October at 20:00, which is included as part of the luxury hotel package.

For those of you who would like to take advantage of our hotel package, details of the hotel and facilities can be found on the following pages.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Please be aware that any extra meals, beverages, room service, parking, spa treatments or additional sporting activities purchased at the hotel during your stay must be charged to your room and your account settled on departure.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Please can all clients who book the organised hotel package complete the attached hotel registration form and email to [email protected] as this will speed up the check-in process considerably. All accommodation and car transport must be booked and paid in full by Tuesday 31 July 2018.

We have a limited number of rooms available. We are aware that cheaper deals may be found by using one of the online booking agents such as hotels.com, booking.com or expedia.com. Please note that the accommodation is offered at cost at today’s exchange rate (BaT have pre-purchased the euros to guarantee the rates). The rooms cannot be cancelled once confirmed, but we will endeavour to re-sell them for you if you are subsequently unable to attend.

Page 11 of 24 BaT Italy Trip 2018 - Questionnaire Imola Circuit

Steeped in history, Imola is one of the longer standing race circuits in the world. Situated near the town of Imola and appropriately named after the founder of , the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, it is certainly a bucket list circuit for stalwart motorsport fans. Since its inauguration in 1953, the Imola venue has been a key part of motor racing history, famously playing host to for many years, and in more recent years, the Le Mans Series. Although Imola no longer features on the Formula One calendar, the circuit possesses FIA status. Since 2007, the venue has undergone a number of changes, including revisions to the track and the old pit complex. Moulded from a differing mix of corners, Imola remains one of the most atmospheric and challenging circuits in Europe. With 17 bends to negotiate it will take time to master this infamous stretch of tarmac, but that is something our instructors will be happy to help you achieve.

Surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan scenery, the Mugello circuit is fiercely breath-taking. Comprising 14 corners and one long straight, the circuit has received high praise from a number of accomplished racing drivers over the years. With over three miles of tarmac to play with there is something to learn from each turn. The range of corners offers something for everyone. The circuit features prominently in many two and four wheeled championships, such as the World Superbike Championship, DTM and Formula One testing. With a stadium capacity of 50,000, it attracts an impressive spectator base. Mugello has successfully featured on the BookaTrack calendar in previous years, and we are thrilled to be visiting once again. We're sure you won't be disappointed.

Located in the Province of Rimini, Misano is brand new to the BookaTrack calendar. A popular motorbike circuit, Misano will likely suit the Caterhams very well. For those driving something other than a Caterham, don't be deterred, it is a fantastically designed circuit with long straights to compliment the varying degree of challenges posed by each corner. Originally designed in 1969, this spectacular venue initially sat at just over two miles in length. After modifications in 1993, the circuit was expanded to over two and a half miles long. The paddock also received a makeover, with new facilities and pit garages. A fantastic composition of corners connected by two short straights will make for an exciting lap. Misano will be the perfect finale to our Italian adventure.

With three consecutive days on circuit it will be hard work for your car, so a fully prepped machine is essential. We will have a team of qualified technicians on-site at each circuit, however their priority will be our hire cars, customers who store their car with us and our Platinum Members.

Garages Garages are available for reservation on each day for £300 per garage. If you would like to reserve a garage please do this prior to the event. You can edit your booking to add one if needed. Platinum members have shared use of a garage as part of their membership package.

Fuel Details of fuel provision are with the circuit information. Please note at Misano circuit it is not possible to purchase fuel on-site with a credit card, they only take cash! Therefore we recommend you have Euro cash to pay for on-site fuel.

Tuition Professional Grade ‘A’ ARDS instructors will be present at all track days. All of our instructors travel from the UK and know the circuits well. Instruction is recommended to all participants who have not been to the venues before as it not only familiarises you with the circuit, but also offers you hints and tips to improve your track driving. Instruction sessions are available from just £50 each and can be booked online to secure your time slot and preferred instructor. If you wish to have instruction, please make sure you book in advance to avoid unavailability.

Food & Drink All three circuits have exclusive catering rights, meaning we are unable to provide soup and sandwiches, however we will still be offering our usual complimentary hot and cold drink service as we would normally on our European events. Please accept our apologies for this – food will be available from the on-site restaurants.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Misano Circuit - Proof of health Insurance Discovering that Misano Circuit requires a certain level of travel insurance to participate in the track day, BookaTrack.com have purchased a policy to cover all staff and participants at all three track days. This policy has been approved by Misano circuit and as a good will gesture, will be put in place at no additional cost to participants.

Page 15 of 24 BaT Professional Photography & Car Transportation

BaT Photography There will be a professional motorsport photographer in attendance taking pictures of all participants from various points around the circuits. These will be available to view/buy on-site and via our website when we return to the UK. Please remember to tape-up (or take off) your number plate if you don’t want to be spotted at the circuit – as all images are uploaded to our website unedited.

BaT Car Transportation For your convenience, we offer a car transportation service whereby your car is taken fully insured by a covered car transporter from the UK to all three circuits and finally back to the UK. Several trucks will be departing from Circuit on Thursday 18th October. If you intend to book ‘Bring my Car’, please note your car must be dropped off at our workshop the week before the truck departs.

Pricing will depend on the size and weight of your car, as well as any wheels/tyres and tools that need to be carried. Prices start at £1295 for a Caterham-sized car (up to 3 metres) with luggage inside the cockpit, up to £1495 for larger cars with a separate set of wheels & tyres.

Page 16 of 24 Caterham Hire - Arrive & Drive Service

Our arrive and drive Caterham hire packages are available for this trip. On arrival at the circuit one of our track prepared Caterhams will be available for your exclusive use. Our Caterham fleet includes one Caterham Academy, one 310R race car, one 310R SV, one 420R race car, one 420R SV and one 620R. The SV is the slightly wider, longer chassis for taller, broader drivers. Caterham Academy The Caterham Academy is ideal for those new to driving a Caterham or indeed to circuit driving. With a Ford Sigma 1.6 engine and 125bhp mounted to a five speed gearbox, it gives an idea of the thrill you can have behind the wheel of a Caterham. With the hire of the Academy car we also offer your own exclusive instructor all day included as part of the car hire package so you will make the most out of your day learning how to handle the car, the circuit layout and circuit driving techniques.

Caterham 310R Race Car or 310R SV The 310R was new to Caterham in 2016 and came as an upgrade to the Caterham 270. Jumping from 135bhp to 152bhp, the 1.6 Ford Sigma engine carries the power superbly. The longer, wider chassis of the 310R makes it ideal for taller, broader drivers, adding a bit of comfort to your track day experience.

Caterham 420R Race car or 420R SV The 420R is the penultimate machine in the Caterham line up. Powered by the familiar 2.0 litre Duratec engine, it boasts an incredible 210bhp. In keeping with Colin Chapman’s ‘less weight more power’ ethos, the 420R is as lightweight as they come and is guaranteed to deliver pure thrills lap after lap. The sequential gearbox in the race car is a superb addition.

Caterham 620R The new Caterham 620R features a wide range of performance enhancements that will see it surpass the R300's legendary status and then some. Words can only help so much with describing what a supercharged 310bhp Caterham with a power to weight ratio knocking on the door of 600hp per tonne is like to drive. This machine is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Caterham Hire Costs Caterham Academy - £4,485 - cost for all three circuits Caterham 310R - £4,485 - cost for all three circuits Caterham 310R SV - £4,485 - cost for all three circuits Caterham 420R - £4,485 - cost for all three circuits Caterham 420R SV - £4,485 - cost for all three circuits Caterham 620R - £5,985 - cost for all three circuits

Safety Briefing & Summary Overtaking Rules Overtake on the straights only, not under braking and not round corners. Overtake on the LEFT hand side only. Overtake BY CONSENT ONLY. This means the car in front must have clearly indicated and pulled over to the right before any overtaking manoeuvre can be made. If the car in front is not indicating, assume they have not seen you. Powerful cars are expected to lift off the throttle on the straights to allow the less powerful cars to pass before the braking zone. If these rules are obeyed, then car-to-car contact is impossible and the only element of danger is your own driving. Finally, remember to do a cool down lap each time before you return to the pits and avoid using the hand brake when parked up.

General Notes No hand-held cameras are allowed. All cameras must be securely mounted. Slick tyres are not permitted without adequate roll-over protection. Please ensure you have your towing-eye fitted before venturing out on track. All participants must have covered arms and legs when out on track. All drivers must have a full road licence (race licence is not a valid substitute). Strictly no timing. No passengers under 16 years are allowed out on track or in the pit lane. Passengers between 16 and 18 years old must have a parent / guardian on-site at all times and they must counter sign their disclaimer.

Know Your Flags YELLOW - Used when a car, debris or other object is causing a hazard on the circuit (often a car spinning), and this hazard can be removed quickly with minimal disruption and in complete safety. Please slow down and be in complete control of the car.
