Baptisms: We welcome into the Christian Community through the water of Baptism, Lucy Carmel Green; Lorcan Padraig Jones; Cahir Jude McNamee and Thomas Patrick John McSherry. May they grow in faith. Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday! Pope Francis is asking you and every Catholic worldwide to come together in celebration of World Mission Sunday. On this very special day every Church, in every parish across our globe will give what they can, no matter how little, towards the World Mission Sunday collection. Your contribution will be used to help spread faith, hope and love in some of the world’s most impoverished and remote communities. Pray the Holy Rosary: The month of October is traditionally dedicated to the Rosary. Archbishop Eamon Martin is inviting members of the faithful to follow the call of Pope Francis and to pray the Holy Rosary every day during this month of October.

Baptism: Beginning in November the sacrament of baptism will be celebrated at 4pm on the first Saturday of each month, alternating between the three churches. The rota for baptisms is as follows; Sacred Heart Boho: November, February, May and August. St. Patrick’s Derrygonnelly: December, March, June and September. Immaculate Conception, Monea: January, April, July and October. To book a baptism, at least three weeks’ notice is required to facilitate a visit from the baptismal team. Country Dance Class: Continues every Monday night in Derrygonnelly Community Centre from 8pm-10pm, Learn the Jive, Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep, Beginners to advanced, no partner needed, come along for a great night of dancing, refreshments served.

Sean nos Dance: Beginning Thursday 18th October 6pm - 7pm in Boho Community Hall, Adm £3 per person Come along for a hour of craic and try this casual style of traditional Irish dance.. All ages and abilities welcome.

Youthscape: is a programme for 14 -24 year olds who aren’t in education, training or employment. There are monetary incentives for those who have left school. It includes all travel expenses and childcare costs. The incentives do not effect universal credit or child tax payments. It is primarily a mentoring based programme with the young people receiving one to one mentoring throughout the programme for a total of 28 weeks.
