The suspect grabbed a pair of scissors and threatened to kill the salon staff and a female patron. The subjects in the salon locked themselves in a separate room as the suspect began to stab the counter with the scissors. The suspect fled the location, and was located by responding officers. The suspect was arrested for criminal threats.

On May 29 at 3:40 pm, officers responded to 9001 Apollo (Walmart) regarding a stabbing. The victim, a male adult, was inside Walmart with his children when he had a brief verbal altercation with the adult male suspect. The argument continued outside and led to a physical altercation. After the altercation, the victim drove to a family member’s home and realized he had been stabbed in the back. The victim was transported to St. Francis with a non- life threatening wound, treated, and released. The victim is no longer cooperating with the investigation.
