Become a Founding Sponsor Our Story BECOME A FOUNDING SPONSOR OUR STORY The Bondi to Manly Walk is a single 80 kilometre walking track around the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, that will link all the existing coastal and harbourside walking tracks between Australia’s two most famous surf beaches, Bondi and Manly. On 27 September 2018, all of the land holders and owners along the proposed Bondi to Manly walking track, including six local councils and three State & Federal Government agencies, signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing the Bondi to Manly Walk. The Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters is a not-for-profit incorporated association working with land holders and owners and other key stakeholders to facilitate the establishment of the walk. AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER, AROUND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HARBOUR IN THE WORLD Over 10 million domestic and 4 million international visitors travelled to Sydney in 2018. NSW National parks estimated over 51 million visitors in 2015, with Sydney’s national parks taking 4 of the top 5 most visited parks in the state. Sydney’s world class Bondi to Manly Walk will be at the heart of Sydney’s national park visitation, and you can be a part of it. MANLY BEACH Manly, so named by Capt. Arthur Phillip in 1788 because of the manly nature of its indigenous people, is famous for its ocean beach and the ferry service from Circular Quay which started in 1852.     MANLY-WARRINGAH RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED ANNUAL REPORT 2012 FOOTBALL CLUB CHAIRMAN’S REPORT Going back to back in the NRL competition has proven too big a task for the defending Premiers each year since 1992, but I can proudly say that in 2012, Geoff Toovey and the boys gave it a red hot go. Despite a host of difficulties, including pre-season disruptions, travelling to the UK for the World Club Challenge, injuries, suspensions and off field distractions, the team, led by Co-Captains Jamie Lyon and Jason King, rallied together magnificently to finish in the Top 4, falling only one game short of another Grand Final appearance after defeat by eventual 2012 Premiers, the Melbourne Storm. Whilst we may not have achieved our ultimate goal of successfully defending our 2011 title, we should not lose sight of just how difficult it is to remain near the top of the NRL competition each year. Accordingly, we should all be extremely proud of what was still a very successful 2012 season for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. In his first year as Head Coach, Geoff Toovey did a fantastic job despite a less than ideal preparation and I am sure he is itching to get into 2013, knowing the experience of his first year under his belt will stand him in good stead for the challenges that lie ahead. With the nucleus of the side being retained long term, particularly our young halves, Keiran Foran and Daly Cherry-Evans, we can all be justifiably confident that a 9th premiership is well within our reach in coming seasons.

The figures in this profile are based on: o International and domestic overnight visitors to Bondi who stayed overnight in Bondi and elsewhere in NSW; o Domestic day trip visitors to Bondi who have travelled to Bondi on a round trip of at least 50 kilometres from home, for duration of at least four hours, but which doesn’t include a night away from home. In the YE March 2019 was more than 2.6 million visitors (up 8% on YE March 2018). International Visitors There were nearly 1.7 million international visitors to NSW who visited Bondi in YE March 2019. o They accounted for 38% of all international visitors to NSW. o The top visitor markets to Bondi were China (14%), USA (13%), UK (10%), Korea (7%) and Germany (4%). o Half of them arrived in Australia as an unaccompanied traveller (50%) and 21% as part of an adult couple. o Nearly one fifth were backpackers (18%). o 40% were aged 15-29 years, followed by the 30-39 years olds (18%). o Over half were on their first visit to Australia (59%). o Their top activities while in Australia where ‘ate out at restaurants and cafes’ (96%), ‘went to the beach’ (90%), ‘went sightseeing’ (86%), ‘went shopping for pleasure’ (84%) and ‘visited national/state parks’ (66%).
