As anyreal-estateagent will tellyou, people movetoneighborhoods, or out of them, because of the schools. But there’s no single way, or universally accepted way, to measureschool performance. In Houston, the nonprofitresearch and advocacy group Children at Risk just releasedits ninthannualschool rankings, adding to the debate over school quality in the region. The group’s analysis, basedontest scores and other factors like graduation ratesand success withlow-income students, puts the Clear Creek Independent School District at the top and Spring ISD on the bottom amongthe area’slargest districts.
