Joy Hofmeister State Superintendent of Public Instruction Oklahoma State Department of Education School Personnel Records Reporting Information Accreditation Standards and School Personnel Records Purpose of the School Personnel Records Section The School Personnel Records (SPR) office at the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is responsible for maintaining the annual certified and support personnel reports, administrators’ salary and benefit reports, superintendents’ contracts, and approved salary schedules for each school district. Additionally, the office maintains the historical employment data for all certified and support school employees. The office staff is responsible for reviewing and approving work experience for school employees and updating each teacher’s record for all approved teaching experience. The SPR office reviews the salaries reported by the school districts on each of its teachers to ensure that teachers are paid in accordance with state law. Notices are sent to the school district identifying those teachers who have been underpaid so corrective actions can be taken before a penalty in State Aid is assessed. Additionally, noncertified teachers are monitored and this information is reported to the appropriate persons so corrective actions can be taken. The SPR office reviews complaints of salary reduction without proportionate reduction in duties per 70 O.S. § 18-114.9 and OAC 210:25-3-4(i), and makes recommendations to the State Board of Education for corrective actions. The office also responds to requests for information that is subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act for any of the above information. We are so excited to be back for our third year of theatre, art, music, dance, and more, right in the heart of Sugar House. A little background: The Fringe started when Westminster College professors Nina and Michael Vought stumbled upon the New Orleans Fringe Festival and were captivated by the array of unique performances they saw there. They pitched the idea of a fringe festival in Salt Lake City to a group of students and alumni of Westminster, who ran with the Fringe spirit and, under the mentorship of the Voughts, produced the inaugural Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in August 2015. So far, it’s been a great success! To date, the Fringe has paid out over $50,000 to 300+ artists, employed 100+ young people as staff and volunteers, and presented the world premieres of 50+ original productions. We strive to create opportunities for artists by providing accessible and affordable performances spaces, encouraging the development of original works, and inspiring a community of creativity and collaboration. The Fringe is unlike any other theatre experience. Here, you’ll find an artistic community that isn’t satisfied with the status quo. There are various degrees of comprehensiveness, from deposit only in connection with copyright, to deposit of all printed information (and, by analogy, information in any other medium). The information revolution of the twentieth century is closely associated with the media revolution, and by 1984 per- manent preservation of all information in national repositories has become a Utopian goal. Modern reprography and new media have changed the materials of archives and libraries and complicated the distinction between them. Reprography has created problems of definition for Scandinavian national libraries, whose collections are based on deposit from printers. Much of the grey, or non-conventional, literature that is presently being discussed by information scientists can be identified as docu- ments that were formerly reserved for the archives. It is suggested that archivists and librarians cooperate in defining their fields of collection and in revising their methodologies in the light of new technology, in order to cope with the massive amounts of material. Body Dreamwork Using Focusing to Find the Life Force Inherent in Dreams Leslie A. Ellis Received: 16.11.2018; Revised: 17.09.2019; Accepted: 23.09.2019 ABSTRACT Finding and embodying the life force or “help” in a dream is the central practice of focusing-oriented dreamwork. This article briefly introducesfocusing (Gendlin, 1978/1981) and its application to dreamwork, and provides a case example with a transcript of how to guide a dreamer to find the life force in a distressing dream. The practice of embodying the dream’s life force provides the dreamer with an embodied resource that can be an end in itself, and can also facilitate working with the more challenging aspects of dreams and nightmares. Research and clinical examples support the use of this technique in clinical practice, and demonstrate how it can provide clinically significant relief from nightmare distress and other symptoms of PTSD. He said that every dream contains life force—sometimes obvious and sometimes hidden— and that the main objective of working with dreams is to locate and embody this life force. Received: 16 June 2019; Accepted: 23 August 2019; Published: 28 August 2019 Abstract: In an optical measurement system using an interferometer, a phase extracting technique from interferogram is the key issue. When the object is varying in time, the Fourier-transform method is commonly used since this method can extract a phase image from a single interferogram. However, there is a limitation, that an interferogram including closed-fringes cannot be applied. The closed-fringes appear when intervals of the background fringes are long. In some experimental setups, which need to change the alignments of optical components such as a 3-D optical tomographic system, the interval of the fringes cannot be controlled. To extract the phase from the interferogram including the closed-fringes we propose the use of deep learning. A large amount of the pairs of the interferograms and phase-shift images are prepared, and the trained network, the input for which is an interferogram and the output a corresponding phase-shift image, is obtained using supervised learning. From comparisons of the extracted phase, we can demonstrate that the accuracy of the trained network is superior to that of the Fourier-transform method. -

Abstract “Dreams are the touchstones of our characters.” - Henry David Thoreau, A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers The ubiquitous nature of dreams works to connect all humankind through its powerful presence in both our waking and sleeping life. I became curious about the unconscious after I recorded a series of dreams that I experienced last summer. After looking at this phenomena from the outside, I became invested in the narrative aspect of dreams and the personal nature the dreamer has with each dream. It then occurred to me how significant dreams are in our daily life. We experience thousands of dreams throughout our lifetime - varying constructions of our unconscious reassembled night after night. One of the remarkable things about dreams is that only the individual gets to experience them directly. There have been many cultural attempts to capture the dream experience. From the paintings of Salvador Dali to the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, dreams have been a popular catalyst for artistic creation. When film came into existence, it too tried to capture that special, esoteric quality which was seemingly exclusive to the world of the dream.
