Alabama State (0-2) battled Troy (1-1) to a first quarter tie as the Trojans jumped on top early on a Jordan Chunn four-yard touchdown run, ending an eight play drive that covered 76 yards. Alabama State was able to answer later in the quarter, but on the defensive side of the football, when senior Ronnie Scott recorded his fourth career inter- BOX SCORE ception and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown.
