Trans-‐Siberian Orchestra, the Christmas Attic, And TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, THE CHRISTMAS ATTIC, AND TICKETMASTER’S “GIFT A TICKET” PROVIDE FANS A JOYOUS HOLIDAY SEASON! Los Angeles- November 17, 2014- Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is on tour now performing their rock opera The Christmas Attic live for the first time in arenas across the nation. The 2014 Winter Tour, presented by Hallmark Channel, began on November 13 and will find TSO playing more than 120 shows in 71 cities across North America before wrapping-up on Jan 4, 2015. While 1998’s The Christmas Attic features one of the band’s most popular songs "Christmas Canon," surprisingly, it is the only album of The Christmas Trilogy never to be performed live. After a wildly successful kick-off to their “Gift a Ticket” program in 2013, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Ticketmaster are once again offering fans nationwide a seamless way to buy TSO concert tickets as a holiday gift. Originally conceived by and offered for TSO’s “The Lost Christmas Eve” 2013 Winter Tour, Ticketmaster and TSO are proud to again offer this safe and convenient way for TSO fans to buy tickets for anyone on their holiday shopping list – now for the 2014 Winter Tour. TSO Creator Paul O’Neill explains, “The loyalty of the fans has made our lives and life on the road easy and we are always looking for ways to try, where we can, to return the favor. Over the past 15 years of touring we have heard stories about people getting groups of tickets for their friends and family to come see TSO and we are glad that for the second year in a row to provide a more convenient way for them to do this.” The original ticket gifting program, which has since been replicated by several other artists, utilizes Ticketmaster's Digital Ticket Transfer technology and is available for TSO concerts sold through Ticketmaster.com only. By simply selecting “TSO Gift Ticket” upon purchase and following the steps to digitally transfer tickets at http://www.ticketmaster.com/giftticket, an exhilarating spectacle awaits to inspire and captivate a new generation. For a complete listing of eligible TSO events and to find a show near you visit http://www.ticketmaster.com/TransSiberian-Orchestra-tickets/artist/780815. Ticketmaster's Digital Ticket Transfer lets fans gift tickets all year round. The majority of events sold on Ticketmaster are eligible for digital transfer, allowing fans to share digital tickets with friends who are notified via email. To avoid duplication, each ticket is issued a unique barcode once transferred, cancelling that of the original ticket. Recipients can either print tickets from a desktop or, if a venue is mobile-entry capable, simply scan their ticket at the gate with no additional cost to the fan. Tickets can be transferred on Ticketmaster.com and from mobile devices via Ticketmaster and Live Nation mobile applications (iOS & Android) and m.ticketmaster.com. With a gift ticket, you can share your holiday tradition and give your friends and family near or far a memory that will last a lifetime. Upon its June release, the album debuted at #9 on the ARIA Album Chart and picked up widespread acclaim: ‘20-plus years after forming, each band member is still fired up to mine new sounds and approaches for inspiration. That willingness to be uncomfortable and look beneath the surface makes Strange Little Birds a rousing success.’ – The A.V.
