n CITY OFFERS FREE Autumn’s cooler temperatures and longer nights signal the return of a popular 10 E-WASTE DISPOSAL tradition to Palm Desert with the debut of 2019’s free Fall Concerts in the Park. Featuring live music under the stars every Thursday night in October, this season n of free fall concerts kick off at the Civic Center Park Amphitheater at 6 p.m. on 90S ROCK SHOW EXHIBITION FEATURES THE Thursday, October 3, with a performance by L.A. Sound Machine. COACHELLA VALLEY DESERT Dubbed “the West Coast’s number one Gloria Estefan and Sound Machine tribute band,” L.A. Sound Machine covers those platinum artists’ major hits from n throughout their decades of music making. The band promises that their “rhythm is 17 LOVE ART? gonna get you” and invites you to come and “shake your body to the beat.” On stage from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday in October, Palm Desert’s Fall BECOME A DOCENT Concerts will feature a variety of talented musical acts designed to please music THE PACK (RAT PACK TRIBUTE) n lovers of all ages and tastes. Other concert series performances include the Amanda HELP LEAD YOUR Castro Jazz Band (October 10); the 90s Rock Show (October 17); Rat Pack favorites from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. performed by The Pack COMMUNITY (October 24); and a Halloween grand finale featuring Dead Man’s Party, the 24 n perennially popular Oingo Boingo Tribute Band.
