PDF file of the instruction packet. We will email this to you a few days before the class. You may print it out, or refer to it on your computer. Supplies you will need to provide for this virtual class: At least two . Plain white eggs from any grocery store are fine. The bigger the better. Please note: A. Although you can get beautiful results from brown eggs, white eggs are best for beginners. B. Eggs will be emptied (blown out); the instructor will walk you through this process in the online instruction segment. Six wide-mouth pint-sized canning jars, used jars are fine, but they must have a lid (or any glass jar with a lid that has a wide opening and can hold about a cup and a half of liquid). Your kit will come with six dyes that need to be mixed up similar to dyes from egg kits. The dyes last 2-3 years, so you'll want to store them in something permanent. Vinegar (nothing special, just the white house hold stuff) Masking Tape or Sticker and pen to write on the tape A spoon Candles-- We will proved two candles with your kit. If you want to provide your own, or for future use, the flame needs to be free and easy to access. Specialty candles sold in jars won't work. Emergency candles are best because they last a long time. Long taper candles and votives work, but they burn down so quickly you may need a lot of them. A lighter or matches for the candle A pencil (any type--you will not need an eraser) A push pin A large paperclip Scratch Old newspaper, or something to protect your table when you use the dyes Aluminum Foil Paper towels Optional - An average sized rubber band (one that fits around an average egg) - Crayons or colored pencils (to plan out your design)
