FUND HIGHLIGHTS Marion Preston Marion County Jacob David Bower “Bower Power” Memorial Scholarship In 2011, Dean and Ginger Bower established the Jacob David Bower “Bower Power” Memorial Scholarship in memory of their son Jacob, who was a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point . The endowment provides approximately two $1,000 scholarship awards annually to students Taylor graduating from a Marion County High School . Students shall demonstrate Harrison attributes of character, high academic promise, commitment and leadership qualities through involvement in school and community activities, as well as involvement in at least one varsity sport .
