During the Sweetener livestream on August 16, 2018, Grande confirmed that she would start working on her next album in September 2018. [8] Tommy Brown shared a short snippet of a song on his Instagram story on October 4, 2018. [9] Later that day, Grande shared a 45-second- snippet of a song on her Instagram with the caption "tell me how good it feels to be needed" which are lyrics from a song, later revealed to be titled "Needy". [10] On November 1, 2018, Grande revealed on Twitter that she was finishing the album, but she later deleted the tweet. On November 3, 2018, Grande confirmed the title of the album, Thank U, Next . Do these exercises three times daily, in the morning before breakfast, mid-day, and at night before going to bed; also at the first sign of an impending attack which can frequently be aborted. These exercises should be continued indefinitely. It is during periods of freedom from attacks, when breathing can be done in a normal manner, that permanent improvement of the chest is obtained. Blow the nose before beginning. Begin each exercise with a short small breath through the nose, followed by a long expiration through the mouth. When inhaling hold the upper part of the chest quiet, so that the breathing is done mainly with the diaphragm and the lower part of the chest. When exhaling contract the abdominal wall, allowing it to sink in toward the spine. The next breath is drawn in automatically by allow­ ing the abdominal wall to relax, and the lower part of the chest to expand.

Boone, Advisor Johanna Devaney Anna Gawboy Copyright by Dana Lauren DeVlieger 2016 Abstract “Whiskey in the Jar” is a traditional Irish song that is performed by musicians from many different musical genres. However, because there are influential recordings of the song performed in different styles, from folk to punk to metal, one begins to wonder what the role of the song’s Irish heritage is and whether or not it retains a sense of Irish identity in different iterations. The current project examines a corpus of 398 recordings of “Whiskey in the Jar” by artists from all over the world.
