FC Porto visit Group G rivals FC København looking for the victory that would wrap up their qualification for the UEFA Champions League knockout stage. • København, two points behind second-placed Porto, will have other ideas as they target a win which would lift them above their visitors in the standings. • The sides drew 1-1 at the Estádio do Dragão on matchday one when Andreas Cornelius scored to cancel out Otávio's goal for Porto. FCK later had Ján Greguš sent off. Match background København • Ståle Solbakken's Danish champions are unbeaten in five European home fixtures this season. • With their goalless home draw with Leicester City FC last time out, FCK have still yet to concede a goal at 'Fortress Parken' in their 2015/16 UEFA Champions League campaign. • FCK have never beaten Portuguese opposition (D2 L3). Their two previous home matches against visitors from Portugal were both against SL Benfica and they failed to score each time – a 0-0 draw in the UEFA Champions League group stage debut appearance in 2006/07, and a 1-0 defeat in the 2007/08 third qualifying round. Porto • Porto are looking for a third straight victory in Group G following back-to-back wins over Club Brugge. • Porto have won two of their three away matches in the UEFA Champions League this season – a 3-0 success at AS Roma in the play-offs and a 2-1 victory at Club Brugge on matchday three. • This is Porto's first visit to Denmark since a 2-2 draw at Aalborg BK in the 1995/96 UEFA Champions League group stage in which Emerson scored twice. Their record in Denmark is D2 L1. Coach and player links • Ludwig Augustinsson put a penalty past José Sá when Sweden beat Portugal in the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final in Prague. Sérgio Oliveira was captain of the beaten Portugal side. • Silvestre Varela scored the 87th-minute winner past Stephan Andersen when Portugal beat Denmark 3-2 in the group stage at UEFA EURO 2012. William Kvist was in the Denmark side too and appeared as a substitute in Denmark's 1-0 loss to Portugal in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying in Braga in October last year. • Yacine Brahimi came off the bench to score past Andersen for Stade Rennais FC against the Dane's Évian Thonon Gaillard FC in the 2011/2012 French Cup round of 16. • Adrián López finished as the five-goal top scorer when Spain won the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals in Denmark. • Iker Casillas kept a clean sheet at Parken with Spain in a 3-0 friendly win in August 2008. He had also won in Denmark with Spain the previous year – 3-1 in a UEFA EURO 2008 qualifier in Aarhus in October 2007. • Played together: Laurent Depoitre & Erik Johansson (KAA Gent 2015/16) Corona & Kasper Kusk (FC Twente 2014/15) Match facts København • Mathias Jørgensen will incur a suspension with his next booking. • Solbakken's side have lost just one of their last 30 matches in all competitions, at Leicester on matchday three. • København have not lost at home in any competition since 5 August 2015 and are 39 league games undefeated on their own turf, a run dating back to a 2-1 reverse against FC Midtjylland on 15 August 2014. • Peter Ankersen and Cornelius were on target as Denmark beat Kazakhstan 4-1 on 11 November in the European Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup. Ankersen's goal was his first for club or country since 5 October 2014, when he was at FC Salzburg. • Benjamin Verbič scored the only goal in Slovenia's victory away to Malta on 11 November. • Federico Santander (right thigh) was substituted 37 minutes into Paraguay's World Cup qualifier against Peru on 10 November. • Danny Amankwaa will miss the rest of 2016 after undergoing knee surgery on 25 October.

Porto • Felipe is a booking away from a ban. • Porto are eight games unbeaten since losing to Leicester on matchday two, although they were knocked out of the Portuguese Cup on penalties by GD Chaves on Friday night following a goalless draw. • The 1-1 draw against SL Benfica on 6 November ended the Dragons' 100% home Liga record this term. • Óliver Torres started both games for Spain as they recorded an away-goals victory over Austria in their 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off. • Miguel Layún scored one goal and set up the other in Mexico's 2-1 World Cup qualifying triumph over the United States on 11 November. • Otávio extended his contract until summer 2021 on 3 November.

8 FC København - FC Porto Tuesday 22 November 2016 - 20.45CET (20.45 local time) Match press kit Parken, Copenhagen Head coach Ståle Solbakken Date of birth: 27 February 1968 Nationality: Norwegian Playing career: Grue IL, Ham-Kam Fotball, Lillestrøm SK, Wimbledon FC, Aalborg BK, FC København Coaching career: Ham-Kam Fotball, FC København (twice), 1. FC Köln, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC • Discovered at lower-league Grue, Solbakken represented Ham-Kam but made his mark as one of Norway's finest midfielders at Lillestrøm between 1994 and 1997, earning the first of his 58 caps for Norway before an ill-starred move to English side Wimbledon. • A five-month Premier League spell ended with a switch to Denmark's AaB in 1998, where he got his career back on track, starring in the 1998/99 title success. He represented Norway at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO 2000 prior to joining København for 2000/01. • His København playing career lasted just 14 league games before Solbakken suffered a heart attack in training on 13 March 2001; he was revived in an ambulance 12 minutes later. • With a pacemaker fitted he went into coaching with Ham-Kam before unexpectedly being named as Hans Backe's successor at København in 2005 by club chairman Flemming Østergaard, who has Solbakken's playing shirt hanging in his office. • The first of five title successes in his first season vindicated the decision, Solbakken also leading the club to the 2006/07 and 2010/11 UEFA Champions League group stage – reaching the round of 16 in the latter campaign – and the 2008/09 Danish Cup. After short, unsuccessful spells at Köln and Wolves, returned to København in August 2013 following Ariël Jacobs' dismissal and won the Danish league and cup double in 2016. Nuno Espírito Santo Date of birth: 25 January 1974 Nationality: Portuguese Playing career: Vitória SC, SC Vila Real, RC Deportivo La Coruña, CP Mérida, CA Osasuna, FC Porto (twice), FC Dinamo Moskva, CD Aves Coaching career: Rio Ave FC, Valencia CF, FC Porto • A journeyman goalkeeper as a player, Nuno made his professional debut with Guimarães side Vitória before moving across the frontier from Portugal to Spain to join Deportivo in 1997. • He also played for Spanish sides Mérida and Osasuna, as well as Dinamo Moskva in Russia, but experienced his greatest success in two spells with Porto, where he won four Liga titles and three Portuguese Cups; was an unused substitute during the Dragons' 2003 UEFA Cup and 2004 UEFA Champions League final victories. • After completing his coaching qualifications in Scotland – like compatriot and former boss José Mourinho – Nuno cut his teeth with Portuguese outfit Rio Ave. He inspired the modest club to a highest ever sixth-place Liga finish in his first season and the following year led them to two cup finals for the first time in their history, as well as earning the side a maiden UEFA Europa League berth. • Those feats earned Nuno the top job at Valencia in July 2014, and he propelled the Mestalla outfit to fourth place during his first campaign, thus securing their UEFA Champions League return after a two-season absence. • Nuno is renowned for his exciting brand of intense, rapid counterattacking football, and has also developed a reputation for putting his faith in fresh, young talents. He resigned from his Valencia post in November 2015 but was not out of work for long, joining Porto the following June.
