Thanksgiving in America’s Hometown of Plymouth, MA

Join Integrity Tours to celebrate where it all began in 1621 when the Plymouth colonists and Indians shared an harvest feast! Today this is acknowledged as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. We will spend two nights at the newly-opened Hampton Inn overlooking the Canal in Bourne, MA. In America’s Hometown of Plymouth, our visits include: National Monument to the Forefathers, the largest, solid-granite monument in the United States; , the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620; the newly restored II, a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World; , built in 1824; The Plimoth Grist Mill; Plimouth Plantation, the first permanent European settlement in Southern ; and a traditional Thanksgiving with all the fixings at the John Carver Inn. On our final touring day, we will travel into where you will have free time and lunch on your own at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, which includes many stores and restaurants comprising of three historic market buildings and a promenade. Upon arrival in Bourne, we will check into the Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal. This evening Dinner is included at a local restaurant. Thursday, November 28 Enjoy an included Breakfast at the hotel this morning. Today we will travel with our Local Guide to America’s Hometown, Plymouth. Our day begins with a picture stop at the National Monument to the Forefathers, which stands facing the harbor, welcoming those who came by water. Our next stop will be to view Plymouth Rock, the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620. From there we will view the newly restored Mayflower II, a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World. Our tour continues with a visit to The Pilgrim Hall Museum, our nation’s oldest continuously-operating public gallery museum built in 1824 and houses an unmatched collection of Pilgrim possessions. From here we will visit The Plimoth Grist Mill, a reconstruction of the original grist mill that once stood on the same site. The original grist mill dates back to 1626 but was destroyed by fire in 1837 and rebuilt on its original site in 1970. You will have free time for lunch on your own on the waterfront. Following lunch, we will visit Plimoth Plantation, the site of the living museum dedicated to recreating 17th century life in the New World with the . Step back in time as costumed interpreters portray residents of the colony. The grand finale to our extraordinary day is a traditional at the John Carver Inn before returning to our hotel in Bourne. Friday, November 29 After an included Breakfast and checking out of our hotel, we will travel into the heart of Boston to Faneuil Hall Marketplace. This is your day to shop, sightsee and have lunch on your own. As we make our way home, we will stop for dinner on your own and recall fond memories of our historic Thanksgiving !
