STAFF

Bill Bliss: Bill is a former minor league pitching coach with the Philadelphia Phillies. Before joining the Phillies he was an area scouting supervisor for the Baltimore Orioles. Before his scouting career, Bill was drafted in the 2nd round by the Chicago Cubs in 1991 of the MLB Amateur Draft. He was with the Chicago Cubs for the four years and was then traded to the and played with them for two seasons. Bill played his college baseball at Villanova University.

Dave Burba: David is a former who played for the , , , , , and from 1990 to 2004. In his 15-year major league career, Burba's record was 115-87, with 1,398 , and a 4.49 ERA. Burba became pitching coach of the Tri-City Dust Devils for the 2011 season, the class-A team of the Colorado Rockies. Burba has served the past couple seasons as the Pitching Coach in Double-A (Hartford Yard Goats) for the Rockies.

Jimmy Johnson: Jimmy brings nearly 40 years of professional baseball experience to the Baseball Factory. He managed professionally from Class A – AAA with the Colorado Rockies. He was also the inield, hitting, and ield coordinator for the Rockies. He most recently served as the hitting coach for team China during the WBC, and has worked with Major League Baseball & their facilities in China. Jimmy conducts professional hitting and defensive lessons in the Phoenix area. He played professionally for seven seasons with the and has coached the Senior National Team in Prague.

David O’Neil: David O’Neil is a Baseball Factory Alum who competed in events during High School. As a native of Ludlow, VT - David met his college coach Rick Soield while working with Baseball Factory’s Exclusive Program. He went on to be a 4 year standout player for Soield at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, a new program that quickly established a history of success. O’Neil helped lead the Sandsharks to an NAIA World Series in his senior season, and went on to coach with Beaufort. Dave coached Cambridge HS in Atlanta this past spring and currently works Player Development Events with Baseball Factory.

Kevin Riggs: Riggs was a standout player at East Carolina University and was drafted by the reds. He spent 7 years in the minors and was selected to the All-Star Team four times. He was among the top 10 Batting Leaders three times and was the Norwich Navigators M.V.P & Offensive Player of the Year in 1996. Riggs spent time coaching in the Rockies organization from 2007-2014 and has since moved to the Pittsburgh Pirates as a hitting coach.

Rodney Spradlin: Rodney has coached and scouted with Baseball Factory for several years. He not only runs and coordinates Player Development events, but also helps to coordinate and run PREP & Tryout events in the southeast region. Rodney is a former Head Coach at William Byrd High School (Virginia) where he won a State Championship in 1997. He currently serves as the Pitching Coach at William Byrd. In addition, Rodney has been the Head Coach in the Virginia Commonwealth Games for over 20 years. He is also a former Associate Scout with the Kansas City Royals. He played his college ball at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN.
