Spend a summer Saturday Twin Stitch taking 5 mini classes (aka Shadow Wrap) on 5 different ways to make short rows. Wrap and Turn • Over • Japanese • Japanese German • Twin Stitch (aka Shadow Wrap) Short rows are used in many projects. The use most familiar to knitters is turning the heel of a sock. Dipped hems, bust darts, and ruffles can all be made with short rows. Designers are constantly coming up with new ways to use this old technique. This camp is all about the way that we camouflage the turning point so that we do not leave a hole in our . The class project will be a ruffled scarf that will serve as a record of the different types of short rows you will learn throughout the day long camp. 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Classes will be 45 minutes each with 30 minute breaks.
