NEWS & UPDATES 1. The Army has constructed and handed over 4 community shelters(12 units) at , , Bhotenamlang, VDCs. The DUDBC Sindhupalchok has started the construction of 4 community shelters at (12 units), Melamchi N.P. (16 units), (16 units) and Melchaur(-20 units).

2. 55 households(HHs) have been wiped out in the Barabise area of Sindhupalchok district owing to recent cases of landslide and induced flooding in Bhotekhosi river (11 Jul 2016).

3. Hon. minister for Forest and Soil Conservation, Mr. Agni Sapkota, chaired the inauguration of timber distribution programme for the earthquake affected households. 24,422 HHs have submitted the © ChandraKant Lal Karna, HRRP application for the timber support from the government.
