NEW YORK / LONDON – 31 October 2013 – International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA), has promoted Jill Offman to take lead responsibility for its Comedy Central brand internationally. In her role as Senior Vice President, Comedy for VIMN, Offman will report to Bob Bakish, President and Chief Executive Officer of VIMN, and remain based in London.

Offman will oversee how Comedy Central and its associated brands are positioned and presented in more than 70 countries outside the U.S., working closely with international teams across Advertising Sales, Communications, Creative, Digital Media and Marketing. The Comedy brand leads in each of VIMN’s five global ‘regions’1 will report to Offman in addition to their local Managing Director.

In her expanded role, she will retain oversight of Comedy Central’s international content strategy, which is focused on establishing an international pipeline of original scripted and non-scripted comedy and entertainment content for VIMN’s portfolio of 17 international comedy channels.

Additionally, Offman remains SVP, Managing Director of Comedy Central UK, a Sky/Viacom UK joint venture, reporting to Dave Lynn, Managing Director of VIMN UK, Australia, Central & Eastern Europe and Russia.

About Jill Offman

Jill Offman joined Paramount Comedy in the UK in 2008 as General Manager and oversaw its successful re-launch as Comedy Central in April 2009, resulting in a +15% increase in average audience in its first year. Under Offman’s management, Comedy Central has expanded its channel portfolio in the UK to include and time-shifted versions of both networks. A series of high-profile acquisitions, including , and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, as well as successful UK commissions such as Threesome and Big Bad World helped the network grow its average audience amongst 16-34s by +80% in three years (2009-2012). In March 2012, Offman was

Previously, Offman was channel director of Discovery UK from 2005, and was later promoted to take charge of content for all 11 channels in Discovery’s UK channel portfolio. Prior to moving to the UK, she was head of programming for Discovery Canada’s factual channels. During her time at Discovery she oversaw several successful international co-productions and format adaptations including Bafta- nominated Star Trek Saved My Life, Emmy-nominated Exodus Revealed and long running science format How Do They Do It?

Offman has also worked as a journalist and filmmaker for Canadian public broadcaster, the CBC.
