Policy Victories In 2018 and 2019, CPD and our sister organization, CPD Action, worked with our 53 affiliates and other partners to win 82 policy victories impacting 34 million people.

During the midterm elections, in 2018, the CPD Action network knocked on over five million doors, and helped to win 25 Congressional races, eight Governor’s races, and over 100 state legislative seats and statewide ballot initiatives. We participated in get-out-the-vote (GOTV) programs that reached more than two million households and helped to pass six statewide ballot initiatives on democracy reform and economic justice.
