(7)8: The LORD spoke to Moshe and to Aharon, ø¬Å‚ FéHÇã ´ éÄŒ:9 ÏøßÉîàÅì ï±HÉø ÇàÂä ÎìÍÆàFå ä°ÆÐÉîÎìÆà ä½Èå Àéä øÆîà¯ÉŠÇå:8 (7) saying, 9: "When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying,

'Perform a miracle!' then you shall tell Aharon, ÎìÍÆà ¯ÈœHÀøÇî FåÈà ú²Åô×î í±ÆëÈì †°ðFœ ø½ÉîàÅì G äÉòHÀøÇ– íµÆëÅìÂà

'Take your rod, and cast it down before Pharaoh, ÏïéßÄ’ÇúFì é°ÄäFé ä±ÉòHÀøÇôÎéÍÅðÀôÄì Ô°ÅìÀÐÇäFå F‰¸Õ ÇîÎúÍÆà ç»Ç÷ ï«HÉø ÇàÂä that it become a serpent.

10: Moshe and Aharon went in to Pharaoh, and ø±ÆÐÂàÇŒ ï½Åë †Ñ Çå¯ÇŠÂò ä½ÉòHÀøÇ–ÎìÆà G ïHÉø FåÇàÂä äµÆÐÉî à¬ÉáÈŠÇå:10 they did so, as the LORD had commanded: and Aharon cast down his rod before Pharaoh and ä¸ÉòHÀøÇô é°ÅðÀôÄì †ä«Å‰ÇîÎúÆà ï}HÉø ÇàÂä Ô¬ÅìÀÐÇŠÇå ä²Èå Àéä ä¯È†Äö before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11: Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and íé±Äî ÍÇìÂçÈë ä½ÉòHÀøÇ–Îíǃ G àHÈøÀ÷ÄŠÇå:11 ÏïéßÄ’ÇúFì é°ÄäÀéÇå åé±HÈã ÂòÈá é°ÅðÀôÄìFå the sorcerers.

They also, the magicians of Egypt, did in like í±ÆäéÅè F‚ÇìÂä íÄé¸HÇøÀöÄî é°ÅYËèHÀøÇç í}ÅäÎíÇâ †¬Ñ ÇåÍÇŠÂò íé²ÄôFÒÇëÀîÍÇìFå manner with their enchantments.

"Pharaoh's heart is stubborn. He refuses to let the ç°ÇZÇÐFì ï±ÅàÅî ä²ÉòHÀøÇ– á¯Åì ã±ÅáÈŒ ä½ÆÐÉîÎìÆà G äÈå Àéä people go.

15: Go to Pharaoh in the morning. Behold, he goes äÈîÀé½ÇYÇä à¯ÅöÉé G äÅ’Ää øÆ÷ Ç‚«É‚ ä®ÉòHÀøÇ–ÎìÆà Ô¯Åì:15 ÏíßÈòÈä out to the water; and you shall stand by the river's bank to meet Ô°Ç–ÀäÆðÎøÆÐÂà ä¸Æ‰ÇY FåÇä ø²ÉàÀéÇä ú¯ÇôFÑÎìÇò ×±úàHÈøÀ÷Äì °ÈœÀáǘÄðFå him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand. 16: You shall tell him, 'The LORD, the God of the G íéHÄøÀáÄòÈä éµÅäØÁà ä®Èå Àéä åé«ÈìÅà ¯ÈœHÀøÇîÈàFå:16 ÏÕ F‚ÈéßHÆã ç°Ç™Äœ бÈç FìÈð Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying,

Behold, I will strike with the ÎìÇò é«HÄã F‚Èé ÎøÆÐÂà ä¯Æ‰ÇYÇ‚ B äAÆŒÇî é}Äë ÈàÉð ä¬Å’Ää ä²Èå Àéä é¯ÄðÂà é±ÄŒ rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. 18: The fish that are in the river shall die, and the ø¸ÉàÀéÇ‚ÎøÆÐÂà ä»Èâ ÇäÈ„ Få:18 ÏíßHÈãFì †°ëÀôÆä FåÆð ø±ÉàÀéÇ‚ ø°ÆÐÂà íÄé¸ÇYÇä river shall become foul; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink water from ÎïÄî íÄé±Çî ú×°œÀÐÄì íÄé½HÇøÀöÄî †¯àÀìÄðFå ø²ÉàÀéÇä ЯÇà †Èá ú†±îÈœ the river.

"Tell Aharon, 'Take your rod, and stretch out your íÄéCHÇøÀöÄî é¬ÅîéÅîÎìÇò ´ Õ ÍÈéHFã ÎäÍÅèÀð† F‰¯Õ Çî ç¯Ç÷ ï©HÉø ÇàÂä ÎìÍÆà ø¯ÉîÁà hand over the waters of Egypt, over their rivers, over their streams, and over their ä°ÅåÀ÷ÄîÎìEŒ ì¸ÇòFå í«ÆäéÅîÀâÇàÎìÇòFå í¯ÆäéHÅø FéÉà ÎìÇò B íAÈúHÉø ÇðÂä ÎìÍÇò pools, and over all their ponds of water, that they may become blood; and there shall be blood throughout all the land of íÄé½HÇøÀöÄî õHÆø¯ÆàÎìEëF‚ G íHÈã äÈé FåµÈä í²HÈãΆéÀäÍÄéFå í±ÆäéÅîéÅî Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone. 20: ä¯È†Äö B øAÆÐÂàÇŒ ï}HÉø FåÇàÂä ä¬ÆÐÉî ´ ïÅë렄 ÍÇŠÂò Çå:20 ÏíéßÄð ÂàÈá †Èá íé±Äö †ÈáÅò Moshe and Aharon did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and struck the waters that é¯ÅðéÅòFì ø½ÉàÀéÇ‚ ø¯ÆÐÂà G íÄéGÇYÇäÎúÆà ԵNJÇå G äƉÇYÇ‚ íHÆø ÇåµÈŠ ä«Èå Àéä were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were ø±ÉàÀéÇ‚ÎøÆÐÂà íÄé°ÇYÇäÎìEŒ †¸ë ÇåÅŠÍÈäFô åé²HÈã ÂòÈá é±ÅðéÅòÀì† ä½ÉòHÀøÇô turned to blood.

21: The fish that were in the river died, and the ÎàÍØFå ø½ÉàÀéÇä ЯÇàÀáÄŠÇå G äÈúGÅî ø°ÉàÀéÇ‚ÎøÆÐÂà ä¬Èâ ÇäÈ„ Få:21 ÏíßHÈãFì river became foul, and the Egyptians couldn't drink water from the river; and the blood was throughout all the land of ÎìEëF‚ í±È„Çä é°ÄäÀéÇå ø²ÉàÀéÇäÎïÄî íÄé±Çî ú×°œÀÐÄì íÄé½HÇøÀöÄî †¯ì ÈéFë Egypt.

22: The magicians of Egypt did in like manner with í²ÆäéÅè F‚Èì íÄé±HÇøÀöÄî é°ÅYËèHÀøÇç ï¸Åë렄 ÍÇŠÂò Çå:22 ÏíÄéßHÈøÀöÄî õHÆø°Æà their enchantments; and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he didn't ø°Æ‚Ä„ ø±ÆÐÂàÇŒ í½ÆäÅìÂà ò¯ÇîÈÐÎàØFå G äÉòHÀøÇ–ÎáÅì ÷µÇæ ÇåÆŠÁç listen to them; as the LORD had spoken.

23: Pharaoh turned and went into his house, Îíǃ ×±‚Äì ú°ÈÐÎàØFå ײúéÅ‚ÎìÆà à±Éá ÇåÈŠ ä½ÉòHÀøÇ– ïÆô¯ÄŠÇå:23 ÏäßÈå Àéä neither did he lay even this to heart.

24: All the Egyptians dug round about the river for úײœÀÐÄì íÄé¯Çî ø±ÉàÀéÇä ú°ÉáéÄáFñ íÄé¸HÇøÀöÄîÎìEë †»øF–ÀçÇŠÇå:24 ÏúàßÉæÈì water to drink; for they couldn't drink of the water of the river. 25: ú¯ÇòÀáÄÐ à±Åì ÄŠÈY Çå:25 ÏøßÉàÀéÇä é±ÅîéÅYÄî ú½ÉœÀÐÄì G †ì ÍÈéFë àµØ é¯ÄŒ Seven days were fulfilled, after the LORD had struck the river. ÏøßÉàÀéÇäÎúÆà ä±Èå Àéä Îú׌Çä é°HÅøÂçÇà íé²ÄîÈé

26: The LORD spoke to Moshe, "Come to Pharaoh, åé«ÈìÅà ¯ÈœHÀøÇî FåÈà ä²ÉòHÀøÇ–ÎìÆà à±É‚ ä½ÆÐÉîÎìÆà G äÈå Àéä øÆîàµÉŠÇå:26 and tell him, 4

'This is what the LORD says, "Let My people go, ä±ÈœÇà ï°ÅàÈîÎíÄàFå:27 ÏéÄðßHËãÀáÇò FåÍÇé é±ÄYÇòÎúÆà ç°ÇZÇÐ ä½Èå Àéä ø¯ÇîÈà äÉŒ§ that they may serve Me. 27: If you refuse to let them go, behold, I will plague all your borders with frogs: ÏíéßÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇ‚Fö Fì±Õ †áFƒÎìEŒÎúÆà ó¸ÅâÉð é«Äë ÈàÉð ä¯Å’Ää ²ÅZÇç ÇÐFì

28: and the river shall swarm with frogs, which ø°HÇã †ÇáÂç ½ÆúÕ éÅáF‚ †à †¯Èá G †ì FåÈò ¿ íéÄòF„HÀøÇôFö ¾ øÉàÀéÇä õ¯HÇøÈÐFå:28 shall go up and come into your house, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your Õé±HÆø†’ÇúÀᆠսÆYÇòÀᆠG ÕéGHÆã ÂòÈá úéµÅá †Fá ²ÆúÕ È‰ÄîÎìÇòFå ÍÈŒFá±Õ ÀÐÄî people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading-troughs: 29: both on you, and on your people, and on all †±ì ÇéÂò Õé²HÆã ÂòÈá ÎìEëÀᆠ±ÕFYÇòÀá͆ ä°ÈëÀá†:29 ÏÕéßÆú×øÂàÀÐÄîÀᆠyour servants, the frogs shall come up.

'Stretch forth your hand with your rod over the ÎìÇòFå íé±HÄøÉàÀéÇäÎìÇò ú½HÉø ÇäF’Èä Îì¬Çò ½Æ‰Õ ÇîF‚ GÕ ÍÈéHFã ÎúÆà äµÅèFð rivers, over the streams, and over the pools, and cause the frogs to come up on the land of ÏíÄéßHÈøÀöÄî õHÆø°ÆàÎìÇò íé±ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö ÎúÆà ìÇò Få°Çä íé²ÄY ÂàÇâ Èä Egypt.

2: Aharon stretched out his hand over the waters ½Å„Çò HÀøÇô ÇäF˜ G ìÇò ÇåGÇœ íÄé²HÈøÀöÄî é¯ÅîéÅî ì±Çò ×½ãÈéÎúÆà G ïHÉø ÇàÂä èµÅŠÇå:2 of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt. 3: The magicians í²ÆäéÅè F‚Èì íé±ÄYËèHÀøÇçÍÇä ï°Åë렄 ÍÇŠÂò Çå:3 ÏíÄéßHÈøÀöÄî õHÆø°ÆàÎúÆà ñ±Çë ÇåFœ did in like manner with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt. 4: Then ä}ÉòHÀøÇô à¬HÈøÀ÷ÄŠÇå:4 ÏíÄéßHÈøÀöÄî õHÆø°ÆàÎìÇò íé±ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö ÎúÆà †°ì ÇåÇŠÂò Pharaoh called for Moshe and Aharon, and said, "Entreat the LORD, that He take away the G øÅñ FåÈé ä½Èå Àéä ÎìÆà †øé¯ÄœÀòÇä G øÆîàGÉŠÇå ï«HÉø ÇàÂä Àì͆ ä¯ÆÐÉîFì frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the †±çF‚ FåÀæÄé í½ÈòÈäÎúÆà G äÈçFZÇÐ ÇåÂà é²ÄYÇò †ÍÅî éÄ’±ÆYÄî íé½ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö people go, that they may sacrifice to the LORD.

5: Moshe said to Pharaoh, "I give you the honor of B éAÇúÈîFì ¿ éÇìÈò ø¯ÅàÈ–ÀúÄä ¾ äÉòHÀøÇôFì ä¯ÆÐÉî øÆîà¬ÉŠÇå:5 ÏäßÈåäéÇì setting the time that I should pray for you, and for your servants, and for your people, that íé½ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö G úéHÄøÀëÇäFì ½ÕFYÇòÀì͆ G ÕéGHÆã FåÇìÂòÈá Fì«Õ øé¯ÄœÀòÇà the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, and remain in the river ø²ÈçÈîFì øÆîà±ÉŠÇå:6 ÏäÈðHÀøßÇàÈÒÄœ ø±ÉàÀéÇ‚ ÷°HÇø Õé²ÆœÈ‚ †Äî ±ÕFYÄî only. 6: He said, "Tomorrow."

He said, "Be it according to your word, that you φðéßÅäØÁà ä°ÈåäéÇŒ ïé±ÅàÎéÄŒ ò½HÇãÅœ ïÇò¯ÇîFì HFø½Õ ¯ÈáHÀãÄŒ G øÆîàGÉŠÇå may know that there is none like the LORD our God. 7: The frogs shall depart from you, and from your Õ²ÆYÇò †Åî Õé±HÆã ÂòÈá †Åî Õé½Æœ¯È‚ †Äî GÕFYÄî íé«ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö †¯øÈñFå:7 houses, and from your servants, and from your 6 people. They shall remain in the river only. 8: Moshe and ä²ÉòHÀøÇ– í¯ÄòÅî ï±HÉø FåÇàÂä ä¸ÆÐÉî à°ÅöÅŠÇå:8 ÏäÈðHÀøßÇàÈÒÄœ ø±ÉàÀéÇ‚ ÷°HÇø Aharon went out from Pharaoh, and Moshe cried to the LORD concerning the frogs ÎøÆÐÂà íé±ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö ø°ÇáF„ÎìÇò ä½Èå Àéä ÎìÆà G äÆÐÉî ÷µÇòÀöÄŠÇå which he had brought on Pharaoh.

9: The LORD did according to the word of Moshe, G †ú ÇåÈŠGËî ä²ÆÐÉî ø¯ÇáHÀãÄŒ ä±Èå Àéä ÑÇò°ÇŠÇå:9 ÏäßÉòHÀøÇôFì í°ÈÑ and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the ÏúßHÉãÈÓÇäÎïÄî† ú±HÉø ÇäÂçÅö ÎïÄî íé°Äœ ÇäÈ‚ ÎïÄî íé½ÄòF„HÀøÇô ÍÇäFö fields.

10: They gathered them together in heaps, and the àHÀø¯ÇŠÇå:11 ÏõHÆøßÈàÈä бÇàÀáÄœÇå í²HÄøÈîÃç í¯HÄøÈîÃç í±ÈúÉà †°øF‚ÀöÄŠÇå:10 land stank. 11: But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart, and didn't listen to them, ò±ÇîÈÐ à°ØFå ×½‚ÄìÎúÆà G ãÅ‚ÀëÇäFå ä½Èç HFøÈå ÍÈä G äÈú ÍÈäFé éµÄŒ ä«ÉòHÀøÇ– as the LORD had spoken. 12: The LORD said to øÆîà¯ÉŠÇå:12 ÏäßÈå Àéä ø°Æ‚Ä„ ø±ÆÐÂàÇŒ í²ÆäÅìÂà Moshe, 7

13: They did so; and Aharon stretched out his hand ø¯ÇôÂòÎúÆà G ÔÇŠÇå G †äGʼnÇîFá ×µãÈéÎúÆà ï¬HÉø ÇàÂä ´ èÅŠÇå ï«Åë렄 ÍÇŠÂò Çå:13 with his rod, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were lice on man, and on animal; all the õHÆø¸ÈàÈä ø°ÇôÂòÎìEŒ ä²Èî †ÇáF‚Åä í±HÈã È‚Èà í½È’ÄŒÇä G éÄä ÇåFœ õHÆø½ÈàÈä dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt. 14: The magicians tried to do likewise with their íé»ÄYËèHÀøÇçÇä ï¬ÅëÎ†Ñ ÇŠÂò Çå:14 ÏíÄéßHÈøÀöÄî õHÆø°ÆàÎìEëF‚ íé±Ä’Äë ä°ÈéÈä enchantments, to bring forth lice, but they couldn't. There were lice í½È’ÄŒÇä G éÄä ÇåFœ †ì Èé²Éë à¯ØFå íé±Ä’ÄŒÇäÎúÆà àé°Äö×äFì í¸ÆäéÅè F‚Èì on man, and on animal. 15: Then the magicians ò°Ç‚ÀöÆà ä½ÉòHÀøÇ–ÎìÆà G íÄYËèHÀøÇçÍÇä †µøFîàÍÉŠÇå:15 ÏäßÈî †ÇáF‚Åä í±HÈã È‚Èà said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God:" and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he didn't í½ÆäÅìÂà ò¯ÇîÈÐÎàÍØFå G äÉòHÀøÇ–ÎáÅì ÷µÇæ ÇåÆŠÁç àå²Ää íé±ÄäØÁà listen to them; as the LORD had spoken. ÏäßÈå Àéä ø°Æ‚Ä„ ø±ÆÐÂàÇŒ

33: Moshe went out of the city from Pharaoh, ÎúÆà G äÉòHÀøÇ– íµÄòÅî ä}ÆÐÉî à¬ÅöÅŠÇå:33 (9) 8 and spread abroad his hands to the LORD; and the ã½HÈø FåÇäÈ‚ G ú×ìÉ™Çä †µìF„ÀçÇŠÍÇå ä²Èå Àéä ÎìÆà åé±È–ÇŒ Ñ°HÉøÀôÄŠÇå øé½ÄòÈä thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth. 34: ø»ÈèÈYÇä ì¬HÇãÈçÎéÍÄŒ ä«ÉòHÀøÇ– àHÀø¯ÇŠÇå:34 ÏäÈöHÀøßÈà Ô°ÇœÄðÎàØ ø±Èè †Èî When Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he ÏåéßHÈã ÇåÂòÈá à†°ä ×±‚Äì ã°Å‚ÀëÇŠÇå à²Éè ÇìÂç óÆñ Çå¯ÉŠ ú±ØÉ™ FåÇä ã¸HÈø FåÇäÈ‚ and his servants.

35: The heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he ø¸ÆÐÂàÇŒ ì²ÅàHÈøÀÑÄé é¯ÅðF‚ÎúÆà ç±ÇZÄÐ à°ØFå ä½ÉòHÀøÇ– á¯Åì G ÷Çæ ÆŠÁç ÍÇå:35 didn't let the children of Yisrael go, as the LORD had spoken through Moshe. ÏäßÆÐÉîÎãÇéF‚ ä±Èå Àéä ø°Æ‚Ä„
