ISTAT Foundation Provides $600,000 in Support in 2015

HICAGO, IL, USA – In 2015, the ISTAT Foundation provided $600,000 in funding globally through its five programs, supporting 65 stu- dents, as well as a number of humanitarian efforts. The Foundation supports individuals and institutions that promote the advancement C of commercial aviation and humanitarianism through its five internationally reaching programs.

“The ISTAT Foundation is committed to investing in the future of the industry,” says ISTAT Foundation Chair Damon D’Agostino. “Each year the impact that we make continues to increase. It’s an exciting time for the Foundation as we continue to expand our development vision, allowing us to impact more students and more areas of humanitarian interest with an increased global outreach.”

Support provided by the Foundation’s programs in 2015 included: • $335,000 to 46 students through the Foundation’s Scholarship Program • $75,000 to 19 non-profit organizations through the Foundation’s Grants Program • $125,000 to 8 international humanitarian efforts through the Foundation’s Humanitarian Aid Program • 9 interns were placed with ISTAT member companies through the Foundation’s Internship Program, which offers stipends for students’ living and travel expenses • 10 inaugural certificates were completed through the Foundation’s newest program, the ISTAT University Certificate Program
