Bellator held its media day in Times Square on Monday, its weigh-in Thursday and announced that its Bellator 241 card would go on as planned Friday night, but without a live audience. But on Friday, the company changed course and announced the postponement of Bellator 241 because of concerns of the coronavirus pandemic. The event was slated to take place from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Bellator president Scott Coker explained the company's decision Friday. Bellator 241 was supposed to feature double champ Patricio "Pitbull" Freire putting his featherweight title on the line against Pedro Carvalho in the quarterfinals of the Featherweight World Grand Prix tournament. Things got heated between Daley and Homasi at the weigh-ins for their first rebooking at Bellator 241 in March 2020, but the event was cancelled less than 24 hours before when COVID-19 caused the world to go into lockdown and sports were cancelled. Both Daley and Homasi are coming off consecutive victories. Daley has won back-to-back fights against Erick Silva and Saad Awad. Homasi is riding a four-fight winning streak into the grudge match. Darko Stosic vs. Michal Wlodarek at KSW 59. Former UFC fighter Darko Stosic will make his KSW debut against Michal Wlodarek at KSW 59 on March 20.
