Niger: Situation regarding epidemics (as per 18 April 2015)
Meningitis has affected all regions in Niger exception of Diffa. Overall, the epidemic threshold has been reached in three health districts in the regions of Niamey and Dosso. More than half of the cases have been registered in Niamey.
Measles cases have been registered in all the regions of the country. The epidemic threshold has been reached in 12 health districts. More than 90 per cent of cases have been registered in Agadez, Maradi and Zinder.
