From it’s humble beginnings in Sydney, 45 years ago, HL Landscapes has grown to become one of Australia’s foremost and experienced large scale landscape construction companies.

HL has completed numerous iconic projects across Australia, including Suncorp Stadium, the Gateway Bridge duplication, Millennium Parklands (Homebush Bay), and more. HL Landscapes have built a strong reputation as a leader in both civil and commercial landscaping. From small sub-division projects to major highway upgrades, light and heavy railway projects and airports, HL have the knowledge and experience to construct and maintain any size project. With 45 years experience in delivering landscape projects in NSW, QLD and NT, we have become very good at what we do. The shear breadth and diversity of our projects is a testament to our ability to deliver projects as our clients intended. With repeat Tier 1 clients such as Lend Lease,

CPB Contractors and John Holland, as well as Tier 2 and 3 contractors, HL have long been the preferred contractor to partner with throughout Australia. The following is an overview of some of HL’s current and completed projects. 1013 TOOWOOMBA SECOND RANGE CROSSING TOOWOOMBA The Toowoomba Second Range Crossing is a highway construction project that will route heavy vehicle traffic around Toowoomba in Queensland. The route, being delivered by the Department of Transport & Main Roads and Nexus Consortium, will be 41 kilometres long and will pass Toowoomba on its northern side, linking the Warrego Highway at Helidon Spa in the east and the Gore Highway at Athol in the west (via Charlton). HL Landscapes were awarded both the East and the West sections of works and will be completing over 4 million square meters of landscape revegetation. CLIENT Nexus Delivery CONTRACT VALUE $25 million LOCATION Toowoomba, QLD 1114 NEW PARALLEL RUNWAY BRISBANE AIRPORT

HL Landscapes have been selected to deliver the landscaping works on the New Parallel Runway at the Brisbane Airport, QLD. Working for Skyway JV (CPB / BMD), HL have been entrusted to help deliver the country’s biggest airport expansion since the 3rd Runway Project in Sydney, NSW. In fact, the same HL team assisted with the vegetation works on the 3rd Runway Project nearly 25 years ago!!.

Over the next two years, HL will be undertaking the revegetation of 2 million square metres via several different applications including seeding, stolonising and the laying of turf. As part of our works, HL will also be installing an irrigation system to ensure the successful establishment of the areas.

CLIENT CPB Contractors BMD JV CONTRACT VALUE $10 million LOCATION Brisbane, QLD 1215 CANBERRA LIGHT RAIL CANBERRA Transport Canberra are rolling out the new Canberra Light Rail Network which will deliver a modern transport system that can meet the requirements of a growing, changing city. Construction of stage one of the Light Rail Network is now underway, with work progressing on the 12 kilometre City to Gungahlin corridor.

The corridor is an important part of the Transport for Canberra policy, which maps out ways to deliver faster, more convenient and more sustainable transport options for Canberra over the next 20 years. Light rail will run from City to Gungahlin, along Northbourne Avenue and Flemington Road. It will deliver high quality, reliable and frequent public transport down one of Canberra’s busiest corridors CLIENT CPB Contractors John Holland JV CONTRACT VALUE $13 million LOCATION Canberra, ACT 13161 SYDNEY LIGHT RAIL SYDNEY The CBD and South East Light Rail is a new light rail network for Sydney, currently under construction. The 12km route will feature 19 stops, extending from Circular Quay along George Street to Central Station, through Surry Hills to Moore Park, then to Kensington and Kingsford via Anzac Parade and Randwick via Alison Road and High Street. Civil construction will be progressively completed across the majority of construction zones, with testing along the Randwick section of the network already underway.

CLIENT CPB Contractors CONTRACT VALUE $4 million LOCATION Sydney, NSW 1417 M5 WESTCONNEX ST PETERS INTERCHANGE SYDNEY Following our works on the M4 Westconnex, HL have been successful in securing the St Peters Interchange in Sydney, NSW as part of the New M5 Westconnex project. This signature project is one section of the nation’s largest infrastructure project and is aimed at linking Sydney’s existing motorway network with connections to Alexandria and Mascot. It also includes connections to the future Sydney Gateway and M4-M5 Link. Local streets and intersections around the St Peters interchange are also being upgraded to ensure safe and efficient connections for the New M5. CLIENT CPB Contractors Samsung Dragados CONTRACT VALUE $4 million LOCATION Sydney, NSW 1518 M4 WESTCONNEX SYDNEY The M4 WestConnex project is currently underway and will alleviate the frustrating delays and gridlock that motorists face daily when they come off the M4 and hit a standstill on Parramatta Road. The M4 East section is the first underground section of the WestConnex and will connect to the widened M4 and extend it via twin motorway tunnels from Homebush to Haberfield with three lanes in each direction. Our works involve planting, mulching and turfing including a 2 year maintenance contract direct to ensure the motorway looks as good as when it was completed.

CLIENT CPB Contractors Samsung John Holland JV CONTRACT VALUE $3 million LOCATION Sydney, NSW 1619 LOGAN ENHANCEMENT PROJECT BRISBANE

Transurban Queensland’s $512 million Logan Enhancement Project includes widening sections of the Logan and Gateway motorways, improving key congestion hot spots (Logan Motorway/Mt Lindesay Highway/Beaudesert Road interchange and the Wembley Road/Logan Motorway interchange) and constructing new south-facing on and off-ramps on the Gateway Motorway at Compton Road. HL Landscapes scope includes the planting and mulching to all batters and installing in excess of over 500,000 plants.

CLIENT CPB Contractors CONTRACT VALUE $6 million LOCATION Logan, QLD 1720 WOOLGOOLGA TO BALLINA HIGHWAY UPGRADE NORTHERN NSW The $4.3 billion project is Australia’s largest regional infrastructure project. NSW Roads and Maritime Services will deliver the project using a Delivery Partner model similar to the approach used for the construction of the London Olympics infrastructure. The project involves the duplication of approximately 155 kilometres of road to a four-lane divided road on the Pacific Highway. The upgrade will begin 6 kilometres north of Woolgoolga and end approximately 6 kilometres south of Ballina. HL Landscapes will be completing sections 7, 8 and 9 to the north and Section 3 to the south. As part of $2.3 billion High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) project in Melbourne, HL were awarded the landscape works package to the new train depot in Pakenham East. Working under the Downer Group, the scope includes the delivery of landscape works to the main train maintenance facility, two simulators and a stabling Yard. The project forms part of the Cranbourne Pakenham Line Upgrade program which collectively will create thousands of jobs and increase capacity, ease congestion and reduce travel times for the one million people living in Melbourne’s south-east corridor.

Brain Cancer kills more children than any other disease. As part of our contribution, HL recently completed a free backyard blitz creating a new home playground for a family who are currently experiencing this with one of their children. HL Managing Director David Hosking said “It was fantastic to create a garden over a weekend with team HL. Walking away on Monday was something that’s hard to explain. At HL, we are constantly seeking new avenues of technology to help us to deliver better overview and insights into our projects. With our projects being spread over vast distances and being interstate, we rely heavily on technology as a must to help deliver each of our projects.

Currently HL have the following IT project overview capabilities:

• A dedicated project management software application that is used by all employees right from field staff to the directors. The application was built internally and has significantly streamlined our operating procedures

• All HL site vehicles including all utilities, trucks and maintenance equipment have GPS trackers
