Mr. Mazar Iqbal, Mohsin Shezad and Rana Sabir Tariq Rovers Agriversity Scouts group performed the Haji Camp duties in November, 2008 at Faisalabad. 2. Mr. Ali Waqar Ashraf and Zeeshan Arshad represented HEC Table Tennis team in the National Table Tennis Championship which was held on 17-22 December, 2008 at Lahore. 3. Mr. Umar Ijaz Ahmad and Hamid Iqbal participated in the Best Rover Scout Punjab competition held on 21-25 Feb. 2009 at Islamabad. 4. Mr. Bilal Hussain, Aftab Nazir, and Mubeen Arshad participated in All Pakistan Rock Climbing Competition held at Margalla Hills Islamabad during 5-10 March, 2009. 5. Mr. Ali Waqar Ashraf and Zeeshan Arshad were selected for training camp in the HEC Table Tennis Team on 10-12 May, 2009 at Islamabad for the world varsity competition, Serbia 2009. 6. M. Uzair, Asif Ali, Nabeel Ijaz, M. Shakeel, Habib ur Rehman and M. Irfan represented HEC Team in the 6th National Beach Handball Championship held during 15-17 May, 2009 at Sea View, Karachi and won the bronze medal. 2009-10 1. The following students from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad represented Higher Education Commission in National Junior Handball Championship held at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad on 30.10.2009 to 02.11.2009 and Higher Education Commission won the gold medal. 1. Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Zeeshan Arshad and Ali Waqar Ashraf, students from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad represented Higher Education Commission in the National Junior Table Tennis championship held at Islamabad from 24-29 October, 2010 and got silver medal. 2. Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Zeeshan Arshad and Ali Waqar Ashraf, students from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad represented Higher Education Commission Table Tennis team in the 31st National Games, Peshawar held at Peshawar from 25-31 December, 2010 and got bronze medal. 3. Mr. Zohair Chohan student from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad represented Higher Education Commission in 52nd National Basket Ball championship held at Islamabad in May, 2011 and got Bronze medal. 4. Mr. Ali Waqar Ashraf student from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad represented Higher Education Commission Table Tennis team in the Master Cup held at Islamabad from 20-23 June, 2011 and got bronze medal. 5. Mr. Muhammad Zohair Chohan, Hussain Asim and Nabeel Ijaz represented HEC team as player in the 7th National Beach Handball championship held from 28-30 June, 2011 at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and HEC and won Bronze medal. 2011-12 1. Mr. Hafiz Zeeshan Arshad student from UAF represented Higher Education Commission Table Tennis team in the 49th National Table Tennis championship at Peshawar from 19-24 April, 2012 2. Mr. Hafiz Zeeshan Arshad students from UAF represented Higher Education Commission Table Tennis team in the master Cup held at Lahore from 22-24 May, 2012. 3. The Pakistan Handball Federation in collaboration with Handball Referees Association of Pakistan and UAF organized the Refresher Referees and Technical Officials course from 19-21 May, 2012 at UAF. 2012-13 The following students from UAF represented Higher Education Commission in 32nd National Games, Lahore, 2012 in Rifle Shooting and got laurels for UAF. 1. Mr. Shehzad Iqbal got Bronze medal in English Match and got Silver medal in three position. 2. Mr. Ammar Khan got Silver medal in three position. 3. Dr. Haroon Zaman Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Agronomy acted as Manager with HEC Junior Wrestling Championship. 2013-14 1. The Directorate of Sports organized Punjab Athletic Meet on 26-12-2013at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. 2. The Directorate of Sports organized Punjab Youth Program from 09-02-2014 to 16-02-2014 at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Sports Grounds. 3. The Directorate of Sports also organized the National Athletic Meet during 18-19 June, 2014 at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. 2014-15 1. Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Reg. No. 2009-ag-2372, M.Sc. (Hons) PBG 4th Sem. was awarded with Presidential Gold Medalist Rover Scout 2014 (Punjab) during selection camp held at provincial Headquarter of Punjab Boy Scouts Association, Lahore. 2. The Pakistan Tchoukball Federation organized 2nd Lyallpur National Tchoukball championship for Women in collaboration with Directorate of Sports held at UAF Handball court from 2-4 February, 2015. 3. The UAF Tent Pegging team participated in National Horse & Cattle Show 2015 held at Fortress Stadium, Lahore from 27-2-2015 to 8-3-2015. 4. The Directorate of Sports organized National Kabaddi match between V.C 11 and DCO 11 and Tent Pegging competition in connection with University Kissan Mela from 19-26 March, 2015. 5. The Rovers/Students of Agrivarsity Scouts Group, UAF participated in Scout Unit Leader Course held at Punjab Boy Scouts Naisheman, Ghora Gali, Murree from 18-24 May, 2015. 6. Mr. Ashiq Rasool, Assistant Director Sports performed duties as Manager HEC Wrestling team in 61st National Wrestling Championship held at Faisalabad from 28-30 May, 2015 and HEC team and got one Silver and two Bronze medals. 7. Pakistan Handball Federation organized 8th National Beach Handball Championship in collaboration with Directorate of Sports from 15-16 June, 2015. 8. Ali Raza, Reg. No. 2011-ag-2817 student of B.Sc. Agri. Engg. Participated as member of HEC team for National Badminton championship 2015 held at Punjab University New Campus, Lahore from 4-9 August, 2015 and got Bronze medal. 2015-16 1. The Directorate of Sports facilitated to FESCO Athletics team training camp at Athletic Track, UAF from 14-9-15 to 14-10-15 2. The Directorate of Sports facilitated Pak Army Handball team to practice at UAF Handball Court on 12-10-2015. 3. The Faisalabad District Athletics Association organized FSD District Championship 2015 in collaboration with Directorate of Sports, UAF. 4. District Amateur Athletics Association organized prize distribution ceremony of Inter District Athletics Championship in collaboration with Directorate of Sports, UAF. 5. The Directorate of Sports facilitated to FESCO Athletic (Men & Women) teams to organize training camp from 4-1-16 to 4-3-16. 6. The Directorate of Sports facilitated MEPCO Handball team to organize Handball training camp from 1-3-16 to 30-4-16. INTERNATIONAL EVENTS University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Participated/Organized 2008-09 1. Mr. Muhammad Uzair represented Pakistan team in the Asian Beach Games held on 18-26 October, 2008 at Bali, Indonesia and Pakistan won Gold medal. 2. Mr. Muhammad Uzair was also selected for the World Games which was held on 16-26 July, 2009 at Koashsuing, Taiwan. 2009-10 1. International Olympic Solidarity Handball Course was held at UAF during 13-26 October, 2009. 2. Muhammad Uzair Atif Student B.Com Part II participated in World Games, Chines Tei-Pei, July, 2009 and South Asian Federation Games, Dhaka February, 2010 as member of Pakistan Handball team and won the gold medal in the South Asian Games. 3. Mr. Dabeer Hussain, Senior Clerk from Directorate of Sports was appointed coach with the Pakistan Handball team during the IHF Challenge Trophy held on5-10 April, 2010 at Dhaka and team won the silver medal. 4. Ex- perimental study conducted through a research national player of Pakistan. Kinovea Software; 0.8.15 was used to find out the respondent about the statement. Results show that athlete performance was associated with a relatively long stride length, horizontal positioning of the foot close to the CoM at the ground contact, minimal braking phase, high vertical ground reaction forces, minimal vertical displacement of the CoM, as well as with high angular and horizontal velocities of his swinging leg. INTRODUCTION The 100m race is one of the most historical races along with the marathon. Introduced to the Olympic Games in 1896 for the first modern Olympiad (held in Athens, Greece), it is believed to be the modern equivalent of the ancient sprint race, named “stadion”. “Stadion”, was a common race in ancient Greece and a part of the Ancient Olympic Games. Moreover, it was one of the five major sports of the ancient Pentathlon and the most prestigious event of the Ancient Games. Adapted in Latin and later in English as “stadium”, the name derives from the fact that an athlete had to run the perimeter of the ancient stadium, which was approximately 180m.In the first modern Olympic Games, the 100m winner was the American runner Thomas Burke who finished his sprint with a time of 12 seconds.
