Nasim, who is also Wanstead ladies’ team captain has been awarded for her work in promoting the club’s community ethos Saba, and overall services to cricket and young people in London. It recognises the immense work she does to promote and encourage grassroots cricket amongst girls. In 2013, having noticed a lack of opportunities for girls in the East London area, Saba set up Redbridge Rangers, an all-girls youth cricket team funded by Chance to Shine & Essex County Cricket Board.
