Uses of Political Science
Students can learn how govt. works and how to develop policy, conduct research, and analyse data.
Students can pursue career as Political Scientist, lobbyist, public relation specialist.
A degree in Political Science can also help in finding a profession globally, for example working in an embassy or consulate etc.
Political Science degree prepares students for many forms of employment as well as further studies. Students gain analytical and practical skills including the ability to conduct research, oral and written communication etc., all of which are extremely important in the employment market.
The Students of Indian Constitution and Public Administration is useful in passing the competitive examination held by P.S.C. U.P.S.C. etc. The knowledge of Political Science is useful in teaching Social Studies in School. It can be used in teaching Political Science in 11th and 12th standard and also at college level. It is useful in making student a good citizen. The knowledge of Political Science is helpful in the work of lawyers, journalists, election analysis and Political Advisers. Political Science is also useful for the persons working in foreign service. The study of Political Science is essential for persons working as announcers on Radio Station and Television as they have to conduct political discussions.

Weakness :-
The Department is not recognized as a research centre in Political Science.
Opportunity :-
There are a variety of career opportunities available to graduates and post graduate of political science degree programs. Many graduates and post graduates work in government as elected officials or in various other capacities. Other career options include journalism, law, Political Advisors, International Relations, Civil Service and teaching etc.
Future Plans :-
The college get recognition of a „Research Centre‟.
Students should be encouraged to get into more Research Work.
Department should provide coaching for competitive exams, such as NET etc.
Public Administration as a subject in P.G. Course.

EVENTS
On the occasion of constitution day (26.11.2016), a lecture on “Indian Constitution was organized, wherein Dr. Mamta Chandrashekhar was the key speaker. She enlightened the students with the salient features of Indian constitution, followed by question and answer session. On the occasion of women‟s day (07.03.2017), Dr. Usha Tiwari enlightened the students with the importance of women empowerment and benefited them by this valuable talk. On 10.10.2017 the department organised a lecture on non-violence and peace focusing on Indo-China relations wherein the key speaker was Dr. Sanjay Jain. He emphasized on establishing world peace. On 26.11.2017, the department organised a lecture on “nature of Indian Constitution” where in the key speaker was Dr. Meenakshi Joshi. She elaborated the provisions of Indian Constitution and described about how the best of constitution of different countries has been adapted and thus the unique Indian Constitution came into existence. On 29.10.2018 a programme on creating “Voting Awareness” was organised by the department wherein a student named Sargam Chauhan spoke on the topic. On 30.10.2018 a programme titled “Dispute between Jammu Kashmir and Article 35-A” wherein the key speaker was Prof. Sanjay Jain. He spoke on the problems related to Article 370, the growing terrorism and other rising questions from Article 35-A. On 14.01.2019 a lecture titled “Moral Values and Indian Culture” was organised by the department where in the key speaker was Dr. Meenakshi Joshi. She emphasized on how the moral values are diminishing from the society, thus effecting on the present lifestyle. On 16.03.2015, a lecture titled “Importance of Political Science and its Career Prospects” was organised by the department wherein the key speaker was Tapan Bhattacharya. He emphasized on the importance of this subject and how students would be open to numerous career options after graduating.
