From Heather: Friday 17 March Interschool Swimming Sports Horse Trek At this stage $10,000 was raised at our trek……..fantastic result so in far. Final figure will be out soon. Tuesday 21 March Human v Horse Saturday 8 April Weetbix Tryathlon in PN Te Manawa visit (pm) Lizzie has this all underway…..there has been good interest in the event so far, will pick up more entries in the next week or so. Entries so far are: • 6 relay Wednesday 22 March BOT Meeting teams • 10 runners • 5 horses

This is our last event for the season and any help would be very much appreciated.

Senior Swimming Sports: All three swimmers, Tania, Isla and Victoria got into the length finals! Well done! Congratulations to Isla whose times qualified her to swim in the Rural Schools’ team at Interschool Sports on Friday. All the best, Isla. Our relay team came 4th. Thanks to Janey who swam two lengths. Also Josiah Power from and Saul Abernethy from who volunteered to swim for our team. Thanks, guys!

Moawhango Athletics Official Results: Tiana was 3rd in Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, 50m Sprint and 75 m Sprint making her 3rd overall for the 11-12 year old Girls. Isla was 3rd in Long Jump, High Jump and Glove, 2nd in 7 m Sprint and 1st in Softball and 50 m Sprint making her 1st overall for 7-8 year old Girls Victoria was 3rd in Softball and 75 m Sprint, 2nd in Glove and 50 m Sprint, and 1st in the High Jump making her 2nd overall for the Year 7-8 year old Girls

Keeva was 3rd in Softball, 2nd in Long Jump, and High Jump. 1st in 50m and 75 m Sprint, making her 2nd overall for 5-6 year old Girls.

Luca was 3rd in Long Jump, High Jump, Glove, 50m Sprint and 75m Sprint.

Pippa was 2nd in Glove, 50m Sprint and 75m Sprint, 1st in Long Jump and High Jump making her 1st overall for the 5-6 year old Girls.

Did you notice that for the 50 m and 75 m Sprints, the placings were Keeva, Pippa and Luca each time as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?

Kawana was 3rd in Softball and Glove. 1st in Long Jump, High Jump, 50m and 75m Sprint making him 1st overall in year 5-6 Boys.

And a big shout-out for Bayden, who didn’t gain a placing, yet never gave up.
